Camp Griffiss was a US military base in the United Kingdom during and after World War II. Constructed within the grounds of Bushy Park in Middlesex, (now in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames), England, it served as the European Headquarters for the United States Army Air Forces from July 1942 to December 1944. From here Dwight D. Eisenhower planned the D-Day invasion. Most of the camp's huts had been removed by the early 1960s, and a memorial tablet now stands on the site.

Bushy Parkrun (stylised Bushy parkrun) is a running event that takes place every Saturday morning at 9am in Bushy Park, Teddington, London. It was the very first Parkrun, founded by Paul Sinton-Hewitt in October 2004 under its original name Bushy Park Time Trial. The event has become a pilgrimage for Parkrunners, attracting entrants from across the globe. It is entirely managed by volunteers and is free to enter. The course is 5km in length with a terrain that is mostly footpaths and grass. The run holds the UK record number of entrants with 2,545 people on Christmas Day 2019. There have been numerous notable participants including the current men's former Parkrun record holder Andrew Baddeley, and double Olympic 5 km gold medallist Mo Farah.

Bushy House is a Grade II* listed former residence of King William IV and Queen Adelaide in Teddington, London, which Lord Halifax had constructed for his own enjoyment on the site of a previous house Upper Lodge, Bushy Park, between 1714 and 1715. It is part of the National Physical Laboratory and its upper two storeys overlook adjoining Bushy Park. The house and 30 acres (12 ha) of surrounding Bushy Park land were taken as the site for the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in 1900 after concerns about flooding of the previously proposed site in the Old Deer Park, Richmond; it opened as part of this important laboratory in 1902. The ground floor and basement levels of Bushy House were converted to laboratory space and Richard Glazebrook, the first director of NPL, and later directors, used part of the building as private accommodation. Bushy House contains laboratories, two small museums that mainly contain old scientific equipment, and rooms used for meetings and conferences.

The Diana Fountain in Bushy Park, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, is a seventeenth-century statue ensemble and water feature in an eighteenth-century setting with a surrounding pool and mile long tree lined vistas which honors the Roman Goddess Diana. Originally created for Somerset House in the 1630s, and remodelled about 1690, the fountain has stood since 1713 in Bushy Park, and now forms a large traffic island in Chestnut Avenue. It is the focal point of two major vistas designed by Sir Christopher Wren, including Chestnut Avenue which is the ceremonial landward approach to Hampton Court Palace. The traffic island is circular and contains a 400-foot (120 m) diameter pool surrounded by lawns, with the Diana statue on a tall base in the middle of the pool. The fountain was listed as Grade II in 1952 and in 2011 reclassified as Grade I.

Bushy Park in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is the second largest of London's Royal Parks, at 445 hectares (1,100 acres) in area, after Richmond Park. The park, most of which is open to the public, is immediately north of Hampton Court Palace and Hampton Court Park and is a few minutes' walk from the west side of Kingston Bridge. It is surrounded by Teddington, Hampton, Hampton Hill and Hampton Wick and is mainly within the post towns of Hampton and Teddington, those of East Molesey and Kingston upon Thames taking the remainder. In September 2014, most of it was designated a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest together with Hampton Court Park and Hampton Court Golf Course as Bushy Park and Home Park SSSI. The park is listed at Grade I on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

Teddington is a suburb in south-west London in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. In 2021, Teddington was named as the best place to live in London by The Sunday Times. Historically in Middlesex, Teddington is situated on a long meander of the Thames between Hampton Wick and Strawberry Hill, Twickenham. Mostly residential, it stretches from the river to Bushy Park with a long high street of shops, restaurants and pubs. There is a suspension bridge over the lowest non-tidal lock on the Thames, Teddington Lock. At Teddington's centre is a mid-rise urban development, containing offices and apartments.

The Admiralty Research Laboratory (ARL) was a research laboratory that supported the work of the UK Admiralty in Teddington, London, England from 1921 to 1977.

Teddington railway station is located in Teddington in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, in south west London, and is in Travelcard Zone 6. It is 13 miles 54 chains (22.0 km) down the line from London Waterloo. The station is operated by South Western Railway, as are all trains serving it. It was listed Grade II as of historic interest in 2012.

Park Lane Stables are stables in Teddington, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames built around 1830 and originally conceived as a fire station when fire engines were horse drawn. Today the stables are run as a charity belonging to the Riding for the Disabled Association.

The Park Hotel is a Grade II listed pub, restaurant and hotel at 19 Park Road, Teddington, London TW11. An earlier building on the site was known as The Greyhound in 1729, and briefly, the Guilford Arms in 1795. It was rebuilt in 1863, and became the Clarence Arms Inn, and later the Clarence Hotel.

Christ Church Teddington, founded in 1864, is an independent Reformed Protestant Congregational church on Christchurch Avenue in Teddington, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It is associated with the Evangelical Fellowship of Congregational Churches. Its minister is Rev. Dominic Stockford (who is also Chairman of the Protestant Truth Society).In 2015 the Victorian church building, dating from 1869, was sold to be converted into six two-bedroom flats, retaining the original stained glass windows. The 1970s community hall next to the old church was refurbished and extended for use in services.

St Peter & St Paul, Teddington is a Church of England church at Bychurch End in Teddington, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It was formerly a parish church but in 2020 became an extra-parochial place. Now known as 'The Peter and Paul Centre', it is being run as a mission hub for Teddington, by a board of trustees from neighbouring parishes St Mary with St Alban and St Michael's Fulwell, and from the Diocese of London. The original church was built in 1865 on the corner of Broad Street and Church Street, opposite the current church. It was needed to serve the western side of Teddington as the town's population grew, while the much older parish of St Mary with St Alban continued to serve the eastern side. In 1913 the parish of St Michael's Fulwell was created in the north western part of the parish of St Peter & St Paul, to serve the growing residential district there. The two churches were combined for a time as a united benefice in 1990. Heavily damaged during the Second World War, the decision was taken in the 1970s to demolish the Victorian church and build a new one on the current site.
