Ferndale ward is an electoral ward in the London Borough of Lambeth, England. It contains parts of Brixton and Clapham. It includes the Brixton Academy. Ferndale ward is located in the Vauxhall parliamentary constituency.

Stockwell is a district in South West London, England, located in the London Borough of Lambeth. It is situated 2.4 miles (3.9 km) south of Charing Cross. Battersea, Brixton, Clapham, South Lambeth, Oval and Kennington all border Stockwell.

South Bank UTC is a University Technical College in Brixton, south London, England. The college opened in September 2016 and has capacity for 600 pupils.

Trinity Homes, also known as Bailey's Almhouses, are almshouses in Acre Lane, Brixton, London SW2. They were built in 1822, with an additional building (numbers 17–20) constructed in 1860, and are Grade II listed.Trinity Homes Almshouses are provided for the benefit of men and women over the age of 57 who are members of a Christian denomination. They may also be provided to married couples.

The Duke of Edinburgh is a Grade II listed public house at 204 Ferndale Road, Brixton, London, SW9 8AG. It was built in 1936–37 for Truman's Brewery, and designed by their in-house architect A. E. Sewell.It was Grade II listed in 2015 by Historic England.

Trinity Academy is a coeducational Free School, established in 2014. It is located in the Brixton area of the London Borough of Lambeth, England, and caters for pupils aged 11 to 18. The school was judged to be Good by Ofsted in its first inspection in May 2017.Although Trinity Academy is not formally designated as a faith school, it has a Roman Catholic ethos. One of the school's founders, former BBC broadcaster Dennis Sewell, has criticized the Catholic Education Service, for refusing to open any formally designated Catholic free schools due to the 50% rule which limits the number of places that can be reserved for Catholics.Since 2017, the school has been housed in a building next to South Bank Engineering UTC, a University Technical College.

The Fridge was a nightclub in the Brixton area of South London, England, founded, in 1981, by Andrew Czezowski and Susan Carrington, who had run the Roxy during punk music's heyday in 1977. The Fridge closed on 17 March 2010 and has no link with Electric Brixton which opened in September 2011 and now occupies the building.

Corpus Christi Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in Brixton, part of the Archdiocese of Southwark within the London Borough of Lambeth. It was previously under the administration of the Society of Jesus whilst remaining part of the Archdiocese. It was founded in 1886, was designed by John Francis Bentley and is a Grade II* listed building.

Lambeth was a civil parish and metropolitan borough in south London, England. It was an ancient parish in the county of Surrey. The parish was included in the area of responsibility of the Metropolitan Board of Works in 1855 and became part of the County of London in 1889. The parish of Lambeth became a metropolitan borough in 1900, following the London Government Act 1899, with the parish vestry replaced by a borough council.

Lambeth Town Hall, also known as Brixton Town Hall, is a municipal building at the corner of Brixton Hill and Acre Lane, Brixton, London. The town hall, which is the headquarters of Lambeth London Borough Council, is a Grade II listed building.

Rush Common is a linear protected open space and former common land in Brixton, London, England. It was enclosed in 1806 with the sections fronting public highways protected from development as proscribed land. Most of this land now forms private gardens, forecourts and portions on Brixton Hill are a public park managed by Lambeth Council. There have been several encroachments on the protected land, including small sections of St Matthew's Estate and part of St Matthew's Church. Lambeth Council holds enforcement powers to prevent building of permanent structures on the proscribed land.

St Matthew's Church is a Church of England church in the London Borough of Lambeth. It is a Grade II* listed building which occupies a prominent position at the junction of Brixton Road, Brixton Hill and Effra Road. The church was constructed following the Church Building Act 1818 and was consecrated in 1824.
