Stennis International Airport (ICAO: KHSA, FAA LID: HSA) is a public use airport in Hancock County, Mississippi, United States. Owned by the Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission, the airport is located eight nautical miles (15 km) northwest of the central business district of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2019-2023, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.Although many U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned HSA by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.

Kiln (pronounced "Kill") is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Hancock County, Mississippi, United States. The town is located about 50 miles (80 km) northeast of New Orleans, Louisiana. It is part of the Gulfport-Biloxi Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 2,238 at the 2010 census.

Bayou Talla is a stream in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It is a tributary to the Jourdan River. Talla is a name derived from the Choctaw language meaning "palmetto".

Shoreline Park is a former census-designated place (CDP) in Hancock County, Mississippi. It is part of the Gulfport–Biloxi, Mississippi Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 4,058 at the 2000 census. It was not included in the 2010 census. The area is now largely within the city limits of Bay St. Louis, although some of the western side of the former CDP is still unincorporated after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

It is part of the Gulfport−Biloxi Metropolitan Statistical Area. In February 2012, Diamondhead was officially incorporated as a city. In the 2020 USA decennial census, the city population was 9,529.

Waveland is a city located in Hancock County, Mississippi, United States, on the Gulf of Mexico. It is part of the Gulfport–Biloxi, Mississippi Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city of Waveland was incorporated in 1972. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 6,435. Waveland was nearly destroyed by Hurricane Camille on August 17, 1969, and by Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005. The current mayor of Waveland is Jay Trapani.

The John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) is a NASA rocket testing facility in Hancock County, Mississippi (United States), on the banks of the Pearl River at the Mississippi–Louisiana border. As of 2012, it is NASA's largest rocket engine test facility. There are over 50 local, state, national, international, private, and public companies and agencies using SSC for their rocket testing facilities.

WMEJ is a radio station with a daytime-only AM broadcasting radio station licensed for 5,000 watts on 1190 kHz at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, serving the Gulfport, Mississippi area. The station broadcasts a gospel format as "Rejoice AM 1190".

The Mississippi Army Ammunition Plant was a 13,480-acre (54.6 km2) government-owned, contractor-operated facility in Hancock County, Mississippi that was dedicated on March 31, 1983. Construction in the northern part of the John C. Stennis Space Center facility began on January 8, 1978. The plant was deactivated on March 4, 2009 as part of the Base Realignment and Closure, 2005. The plant was last operated by Mason Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Mason and Hanger-Silas Co., Inc.

Clermont Harbor is an unincorporated community on the western end of Hancock County on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. It is part of the Gulfport–Biloxi, Mississippi Metropolitan Statistical Area.Clermont Harbor is located directly on the coastline, with the main road in and out of town being Beach Boulevard (unsigned Mississippi Highway 606). Buccaneer State Park lies on the eastern boundary of the community. The community lies along the CSX Transportation line. A post office operated under the name Clermont Harbor from 1913 to 1989. Clermont Harbor was completely destroyed by Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005. The 40-room Clermont Harbor Hotel operated in Clermont Harbor from 1915 to 1946.
