Doddington Hall is a country house in Doddington Park in the civil parish of Doddington, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The house was built for Rev Sir Thomas Broughton between 1777 and 1798 to a design by Samuel Wyatt. It was built to replace an older house, of which Delves Hall was a part, a short distance to the north. The house is constructed of Keuper sandstone ashlar with a slate roof and lead flashings in three storeys. It is in neoclassical style with an entrance front of nine bays.It is the seat of the Broughton baronets.

Blakenhall is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Doddington and District, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, about 7 miles (11 km) south-east of Nantwich. It lies on the county boundary with Staffordshire. The parish has an area of 654 hectares (1,620 acres) and also includes the small settlements of The Den and Gonsley Green, with a total population of 125 in 2001. Nearby villages include Wybunbury in Cheshire and Betley and Wrinehill in Staffordshire. Blakenhall was first recorded in the Domesday survey as Blachenhale, and the parish had one of Cheshire's early ironworks in the 17th and 18th centuries. The area is rural and predominantly agricultural, with small areas of ancient woodland and the nature reserve of Blakenhall Moss, a rejuvenating lowland raised bog. The Crewe-to-Stafford railway line runs through the parish and it is on the proposed route of HS2.

Delves Hall, also known as Doddington Castle, is a fortified structure in Doddington Park to the north of Doddington Hall in the civil parish of Doddington, Cheshire, England. It is designated by Historic England as a Grade I listed building.

St John's Church, Doddington, is located off Hunsterson Road in the grounds of Doddington Hall, Cheshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Nantwich, the archdeaconry of Macclesfield, and the diocese of Chester. Its benefice is combined with those of St James, Audlem, and St Chad, Wybunbury. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Checkley Hall is a small country house in the parish of Doddington and District (until 2023 Checkley cum Wrinehill), in Cheshire, England. The house was built in 1694 by the Delves family of Doddington, replacing an earlier timber-framed house. It was altered in the late 18th or early 19th century, replacing a hipped roof with an attic. The house is constructed in brick with a tiled roof. It has 2½ storeys, and an entrance front with five bays. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. Its gate piers are listed at Grade II.

Hunsterson is a hamlet (at SJ697461) and former civil parish, now in the parish of Doddington and District, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The hamlet is located 2¾ miles to the north east of Audlem and 6 miles to the south of Crewe. The parish also included the settlements of Brown Moss, Four Lane End, Foxes Bank and Whittaker's Green. In 2011 the parish had a population of 163. Nearby villages include Audlem, Buerton, Hatherton and Hankelow.

Dorrington Lane is a hamlet near the village of Woore in northeast Shropshire, England. There are around 12 former council houses and two larger houses called Norley and Oakley cottage. There is a large mansion house called Dorrington Old Hall which is about 700 years old. The hamlet contains several farms, including one of the biggest stud farms outside Newmarket. The main nearby towns are Market Drayton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Nantwich and Crewe. The nearest city is Stoke on Trent. Dorrington Lane used to be home to the Woore Hunt Races where Dick Francis supposedly ran his first race. Dorrington Old Hall is listed in the Domesday Book and a past Lord Mayor of London, John Boydell was born there.

Woore is a village and civil parish in the north east of Shropshire, England, of about 3,950 acres (1,600 hectares). It had a population of 1,004 in the 2001 Census, rising to 1,069 at the 2011 Census.

Checkley cum Wrinehill is a former civil parish, now in the parish of Doddington and District, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, which lies adjacent to the boundaries with Shropshire and Staffordshire. The hamlet of Checkley (at SJ734462) lies to the south east of Crewe and to the west of Newcastle-under-Lyme. The parish is largely rural but also includes the small settlements of Bunkers Hill and Randilow. Wrinehill was formerly included in the parish, becoming part of Staffordshire in 1965. Nearby villages include Blakenhall, Bridgemere, Madeley and Woore. In 2001 the parish had a population of 129.

Betley Road was a station on the London and North Western Railway serving Betley, Staffordshire. It opened in 1875 and closed in 1945.
