Herveld is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Overbetuwe. Herveld was a separate municipality until 1818, when the area was divided between Loenen en Wolferen and Valburg.The village exists of two semi-separate communities of Herveld-Noord and Herveld-Zuid., connected by the Stenenkamerstraat. The mostly Catholic Herveld-North is located directly east of the village Andelst while the more Protestant Herveld-South is a mile further south. Most amenities such as supermarkets, are located in Herveld-North. In the center of Herveld-South is a Gothic hall church, dating from the 15th century. Just outside the village is De Vink, a mill from the 18th century. Herveld is just off the A50 motorway (junction/knooppunt Valburg), and to come into the village, one must follow the A15. Herveld has a rich history of fruit cultivation.

Loenen en Wolferen is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It existed from 1818 to 1854, when it became a part of Valburg. The area is now part of the municipality of Overbetuwe. The municipality covered the two hamlets of Loenen and Wolferen.

Beuningen

Beuningen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbøːnɪŋə(n)] (listen)) is a municipality and a town in the eastern Netherlands. The municipality consists of the towns Beuningen, Ewijk, Winssen and Weurt. 1.5 kilometres (1 mi) to the north lies the river Waal Beuningen lies adjacent to the A73 (Nijmegen-Venlo, on the south side) and A50 (Zwolle-Eindhoven, in the west) motorway interchange. Ewijk is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Beuningen, and lies about 9 km west of Nijmegen. The river Waal runs in the north. Ewijk was a separate municipality until 1980, when it was merged with Beuningen.

Winssen

Winssen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is the smallest village of the municipality of Beuningen, and lies about 8 km north of Wijchen. It lies south of the river Waal Winssen was a separate municipality until 1818, when it was merged with Ewijk.It was first mentioned in 1153 as Winisen. The etymology is unclear. Huis te Winssen was a castle located near the village. In 1584, it fell in Spanish hands, and was destroyed by the citizens of Nijmegen. It was later rebuilt, but demolished around 1815. In 1840, Winssen was home to 909 people.The Beatrixmolen is a grist mill from 1791 which was originally located in Alphen. In 1858, it was rebuilt and moved to Winssen. In 1988, it was restored.

Hemmen

Hemmen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Overbetuwe, 1 km northwest of Zetten. Hemmen was a separate municipality until 1955, when it was merged with Valburg.
