Thornton High School (Colorado)

Original Thornton/88th station (sometimes stylized as Original Thornton•88th) is a station on the N Line of the Denver RTD commuter rail system in Thornton, Colorado. It is located north of 88th Avenue and west of Welby Road; a section of Welby was moved 1⁄4 mile (0.40 km) to a new alignment linear with Steele Street. The station opened on September 21, 2020.

Welby is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) located in and governed by Adams County, Colorado, United States. The CDP is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population of the Welby CDP was 15,553 at the United States Census 2020.

The City of Northglenn is a home rule municipality located in Adams and Weld counties, Colorado, United States. Northglenn is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2020 census the city's population was 38,131. It was built as a master planned community in 1959 by Jordon Perlmutter.The city is directly connected to Downtown Denver via the Regional Transportation District N Line at the Northglenn/112th station.

Water World (also known as, Hyland Hills Water World or Water World Colorado) is a water park that is part of the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District and located in Federal Heights, Colorado, roughly 10 miles (16 km) north of downtown Denver, Colorado. The park first opened in August 1979 with the first two waterslides in the state of Colorado, the Bonzai Pipeline. Water World is generally open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, but may be closed some school days. The park occupies 70 acres (28 ha), making it one of America's largest water theme parks. In 2021, Amusement Today awarded Water World as the 5th best water park in the industry on their Golden Ticket Awards. As of the 2022 season, the park has 50 attractions including a multitude of water slides, a lazy river, inflatable tube rides, multi-guest inflatable raft rides, two wave pools, and a gondola, which offers access to and from the top of the park.

Federal Heights is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor. The current Mayor is Linda S. Montoya, who was elected to a four-year term in 2019.

The Thede Farmhouse is a historic farmhouse in Northglenn, Colorado, United States. Built in 1903, it is a Queen Anne house. Today, the brick farmhouse is surrounded by modern development. In 1998, the house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its well-preserved architecture.

Thornton Crossroads/104th station (sometimes stylized as Thornton Crossroads•104th) is a station on the N Line of the Denver RTD commuter rail system in Thornton, Colorado. It is located on Colorado Boulevard, slightly south of 104th Avenue. The station opened on September 21, 2020.

Northglenn/112th station (sometimes stylized as Northglenn•112th) is a station on the N Line of the Denver RTD commuter rail system in Northglenn, Colorado. It is located on the west side of York and north of 112th Avenue. The station opened on September 21, 2020.

Thornton is the sixth most populous city in Colorado and the 191st most populous city in the United States. Thornton is 10 miles (16 km) north of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver and is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Iver C. Ranum High School was a public secondary school operated by Adams County School District 50 near Westminster, Colorado, United States, from 1961 to 2010. The high school was located in the Sherrelwood neighborhood in Adams County. It was named in honor of Iver Ranum, Superintendent of Adams County School District 50 from 1950 to 1975. The last class of Ranum High School graduated on May 8, 2010. The high school has been replaced by the new Westminster High School. The building that housed Iver C. Ranum High School currently houses Iver C. Ranum Middle School.

Clear Creek is a tributary of the South Platte River, approximately 66 miles (106 km) long, in north central Colorado in the United States. The creek flows through Clear Creek Canyon in the Rocky Mountains directly west of Denver, descending through a long gorge to emerge at the town of Golden, finally ending in the Colorado Eastern Plains where it joins the South Platte. Clear Creek is unusual in that it is a stream named "creek" fed by a stream named "river"; typically "rivers" are fed by "creeks", and are larger bodies of water, although the nomenclature is ambiguous and there is no clear system. Fall River empties into Clear Creek along I-70 west of Idaho Springs, Colorado.
