Grevenberg

Wachtum is a village located in the municipality of Coevorden, within the Dutch province of Drenthe.

De Hoop (English: The Hope) is a smock mill in Wachtum, Drenthe, which has been restored to working order. The mill was built in 1894 and is listed as a Rijksmonument, number 11637.

The A37 motorway is a motorway in the Netherlands. It is approximately 42 kilometers in length. The A37 is located entirely in the Dutch province of Drenthe. The A37 connects the city of Hoogeveen with Emmen and the German border (Twist, Germany) near Zwartemeer. At the border, the road continues as the German road B402, which connects to the German A31 a few kilometers east of the border. Along the entire length of the motorway, the European route E233 follows the A37.

Dalen (Dutch Low Saxon: Daoln) is a village and a former municipality in the northeastern Netherlands, in the province of Drenthe. Since 1998, Dalen has been part of the municipality of Coevorden. The village was first mentioned in the 12th century as "in Dalon". The etymology is unclear. Dalen is an esdorp which developed in the Early Middle Ages along the road from Coevorden to Groningen. It contains two triangular village greens.The Dutch Reformed church is an aisleless church with a tower from the 15th century. The church was damaged during the Siege of Coevorden of 1813 and rebuilt in 1824.There are many shops and restaurants, bakeries and a pub called the D'aolle Bakkerij. The village is known for its two windmills, Jan Pol and De Bente, which are open to the public. There is a family resort from Center Parcs called 'De Huttenheugte' and next to the resort lies the theme park Plopsa Indoor. Dalen railway station has connections to Emmen and Coevorden/Zwolle.

Dalen is a railway station located in Dalen, Netherlands. The station was opened on 1 November 1905 and is located on the Emmerlijn (Zwolle - Emmen). Train services are operated by Arriva. The station was closed between 2 October 1938 and 10 June 1940, 17 September 1944 and 27 June 1945 and 14 May 1950 and 31 May 1987.

The village developed after the Verlengde Hoogeveensche Vaart was dug, and is a linear settlement. The pub near the bridge became the centre of the village.

Hoogehaar is a hamlet in the Netherlands and is part of the Coevorden municipality in Drenthe. Hoogehaar is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Dalen. It was first mentioned in the 1850s as De Hooge Haar, and means "sandy ridge". The hamlet consists of about 10 houses.

Oosterhesselen is a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is located in the municipality of Coevorden, about 9 km north of the city. Oosterhesselen was a separate municipality between 1819 and 1998, when it was merged with Coevorden.

Ballast is a hamlet and neighbourhood of Coevorden in Drenthe, Netherlands. The hamlet part is not marked. The population is 1840 was 49. Nowadays, it contains about 20 houses. The neighbourhood of Coevorden next to village is also named Ballast, and is significantly larger.
