The Economy Museum - Royal Coin Cabinet (Swedish: Ekonomiska museet - Kungliga Myntkabinettet) is a museum in central Stockholm, Sweden, dedicated to the history of money and economic history in general.

The Tessin Palace (Swedish: Tessinska palatset) is a baroque town house located in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm. Located next to the Royal Palace, it is facing Slottsbacken, the major approach to the Stockholm Palace, and flanked by two alleys, Finska Kyrkogränd and Bollhusgränd. The mansion was constructed between 1694 and 1700 by architect Nicodemus Tessin the Younger. The building was inherited by Tessin's son Carl Gustaf Tessin who had to sell it in 1755 for financial reasons. The palace later became property of the crown and has been used as residence for the Governor of Stockholm and later Governor of Stockholm County.

The City of Stockholm is situated on fourteen islands and on the banks to the archipelago where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. The city centre is virtually situated on the water. The area of Stockholm is one of several places in Sweden with a joint valley terrain. In these landscapes erosion along geological joints has split the flattish upper surfaces into low-lying plateaus. In the case of Stockholm the plateau surfaces are remnants of the Sub-Cambrian peneplain.

The Royal Chapel (Swedish: Slottskyrkan) is a church inside Stockholm Palace. It was opened in 1754.The royal palace chapels (including the Royal Chapel of Stockholm Palace, the Royal Chapel of Drottningholm Palace, and Riddarholmen Church) are all part of the national Church of Sweden, although their management is in the hands of the Office of the Marshal of the Realm, as part of the Royal Estate.

Finska Kyrkogränd (Swedish: "Finnish Church Alley") is a blind alley in Gamla stan, an old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Leading south from Slottsbacken, the alley separates the Finnish Church from the Tessin Palace. It was also named after the vicinity to the former. It forms a parallel street to Bollhusgränd and Källargränd. The alley, for long the property of the Crown, used to lead to Trädgårdsgatan. It was excepted from a land donation in 1648 for the construction of the Lilla Bollhuset ("Small Ball House"), a building originally intended for ball games but mostly used for theatre. This latter building was rebuilt into the Finnish Church in 1725, and as the Finnish parish later enlarged the building, the alley became a blind alley periodically completely sealed off.

Sweden's regalia are kept deep in the vaults of the Royal Treasury (Swedish: Skattkammaren), underneath the Royal Palace in Stockholm, in a museum that is open to the public. The crowns and coronets have not been worn by Swedish royalty since 1907, but they are still displayed at weddings, christenings and funerals. Prior to 1907, the crowns and coronets were worn along with royal mantles by the king and other princes at the monarch's coronation, during the opening of the Riksdag, and displayed on other occasions. After the death of Oscar II (the last to be crowned) in 1907, the practice of wearing the crowns at the opening of the Riksdag ceased and the crowns were no longer worn. After this, the crown of the King and his sceptre were simply displayed on cushions on either side of the silver throne while the king's mantle was draped over it. The old opening of state lasted until 1974. Among the oldest priceless objects are the sword of Gustav Vasa and the crown, orb, sceptre and key of King Erik XIV.

Bollhuset, also called Stora Bollhuset (The Big Ball House), Bollhusteatern (Ball House Theater), and Gamla Bollhuset (Old Ball House) at various times, was the name of the first theater in Stockholm, Sweden; it was the first Swedish theater and the first real theater building in the whole of Scandinavia. It was built in 1627 for ball sports and used in this way for forty years. The name Lejonkulan, however, was, in fact, the name of a different building, which was also used by the same theater in the 17th century. Bollhuset was the scene of a long series of most important events in the history of the theater in the city and in the history of Swedish theater. Between 1667 and 1792 it was used as a theater until it was demolished in 1793; between 1737 and 1754, the first national theater was located here; in 1773–1782 the Royal Swedish Opera (and thereby also the Royal Swedish Ballet) was located here; in 1783–1792 the French theater of Stockholm was housed here; in 1787 the second national theater was re-founded in the building; and from 1788 to 1792 it was the home of the Royal Dramatic Theatre.

Bollhusgränd (Swedish: "Ball House Alley") is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Named after Bollhuset, a historical theatre, it connects Slottsbacken to Köpmantorget, and as Baggensgatan extends the alley further south beyond Köpmangatan, together they form a parallel street to Österlånggatan and Själagårdsgatan.

The Finnish Church (Finnish: Suomalainen kirkko, Swedish: Finska kyrkan) is a church building in Gamla stan in Stockholm, Sweden. Belonging to the Stockholm Finnish Parish of the Church of Sweden, it was opened in 1725 after the Lilla Bollhuset building had been rebuilt into a church.

Järnpojke or Iron Boy (in English known as the "little boy who looks at the moon") is a sculpture in Gamla stan (Old Town) of Stockholm, Sweden by Liss Eriksson, which is only 15 centimetres (5.9 in) high and therefore is the smallest public monument of Stockholm. The sculpture was created in 1954 by the Swedish artist Liss Eriksson, but was inaugurated at this point only in 1967. The sculpture is located behind the Finnish Church, which is only a few meters away from the Stockholm Palace, however hard to find due to its secluded location.In winter, the little boy is also to be found wearing a winter hat and scarf. The sculpture is described in very few tourist guides and is therefore considered a "secret" tourist attraction.

Skeppar Olofs Gränd (Swedish: "Alley of Skipper Olof") is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching from Köpmangatan to Trädgårdsgatan, it forms a parallel street to Peder Fredags Gränd and Trädgårdstvärgränd.

'Bollhustäppan' (Swedish for 'The Ball House Patch') is a small public space in Gamla stan, which is the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Named after Bollhuset, a historical theatre, it is located south of Slottsbacken just behind the Finnish Church, while two gates connects it to Trädgårdsgatan.
