Journey Church is a Pentecostal church with locations in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Burlington, Wisconsin, Beach Park, Illinois, and Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. It is affiliated with the Assemblies of God USA. Its lead pastor is Kevin Taylor. Since its founding in the US, the church has also opened a campus in Vilnius, Lithuania. The location in Kenosha holds two weekend services with an attendance over 2,600. The location in Burlington holds one weekend services with an attendance of about 150. The Kenosha location livestreams its services through its website. Services are also uploaded to the Journey Church website to be watched whenever.

The Original Outlet Mall was an indoor outlet mall located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Opening in 1982 as the first outlet mall in Wisconsin, the mall was demolished in two phases from 2005 to 2006, with an Ashley HomeStore built on part of the site.

Truesdell is a residential and business neighborhood of the city of Kenosha in east-central Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. It lies along Highway 50 on the former Milwaukee Road (now Canadian Pacific) main railroad line from Chicago, Illinois (C&M Subdivision). The last Milwaukee Road passenger trains stopped in Truesdell in 1945, but there are still switching facilities present. The community was settled by Gideon and Julia Truesdell in the 19th century, but the community itself has disappeared within the city of Kenosha and related surrounding development, though some businesses still identify with the original name. The Truesdell post office, organized in 1870, closed on May 1, 1953; its postmistress, Mrs. Jennie H. Alsted, had operated it from her home's back porch for 31 years.

LakeView Technology Academy is a vocational high school in the Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. It serves students grades 9 to 12 from all across KUSD with a focus on STEM education. LakeView opened in the fall of 1997 as a response to overcrowding in KUSD. The school also has partnerships with the Kenosha Area Business Alliance and Gateway Technical College. LakeView is ranked the 234th best high school in the nation, making it the 2nd best in Wisconsin.

Pleasant Prairie Power Plant was a 1.21-gigawatt (1,210 MW) coal power plant located in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin in Kenosha County. In 2009, it was listed by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) as the largest generating station in Wisconsin and generated roughly 13% of Wisconsin's electricity, burning around 13,000 tons of coal daily.

The Pleasant Prairie RecPlex is a recreational facility in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. "The Largest Municipal Recreational Facility in America", it consists of 302,000 square feet in Prairie Springs Park on the shores of Lake Andrea.

WIIL (95.1 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Union Grove, Wisconsin. The station serves Kenosha (its original city of license), Racine, the southern suburbs of Milwaukee and the northern suburbs of Chicago. WIIL is owned and operated by Alpha Media and airs an active rock radio format. The call letters stand for Wisconsin and Illinois for its dual-state coverage area. The station is branded as "95 WIIL Rock," with "WIIL" pronounced on air the same as 'will.' The station has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 50,000 watts, the maximum output for the region in which it operates. The station's transmitter is off Green Bay Road (Wisconsin Highway 31) at 85th Street in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, while its studio is based in the north end of the Gurnee Mills mall in Gurnee.WIIL serves as a complement to Alpha's station licensed to Coal City, Illinois, and broadcasting from Crest Hill, WRXQ (100.7), which serves the southern and southwest suburbs of Chicago.

Mars Cheese Castle is a specialty food store, delicatessen, and taproom which sells a variety of consumable products in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Located along Interstate 94, the shop is popular among Wisconsin visitors and has been called a "cheese landmark", "one of Wisconsin's most recognizable cheese stores", and "an icon for generations of I-94 travelers". While the store is best known for its cheese, it also sells sausages and other foods, beer, wine, specialty condiments, soft drinks and Wisconsin souvenirs such as cheesehead hats.The store is the oldest cheese shop located at what the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel called "Wisconsin's most visible cheese interchange"; the junction of Interstate 94 and Wisconsin Highway 142 had three cheese shops until 2009 when it was reduced to two.The in-store deli offers burgers, bratwurst, and other sandwiches. A variety of draft and bottle beers are available in the taproom – including imported European beers and Wisconsin microbrews. There is also a bakery on site.

Indian Trail High School and Academy is a public high school in Kenosha, Wisconsin, part of the Kenosha Unified School District. Unlike the other high schools in the district, ITHS/A houses a comprehensive high school and an alternative school under one roof; both schools share the music and physical education programs and some academic and elective classes such as foreign languages and Advanced Placement (AP) classes.

Aurora is now part of the city of Kenosha, in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, but was the site of one of the area's earliest post offices, opened in the early 1830s at the Willis Tavern, the Aurora community center on the west side of the old Green Bay Trail (now Highway 31) just north of what is now 60th Street (Kenosha County Highway K). A Chicago-Milwaukee stagecoach line began operating in 1836 (twelve years before Wisconsin statehood) and served Aurora. The post office was finally closed in 1843. No traces of the community exist today.

Chapin is a small residential and agricultural unincorporated community in the town of Paris, Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. It is centered at Highway 142 (Burlington Road) near what is currently Kenosha County Highway MB. The community was settled in the 19th century and has also been known as Star Corners, Heidersdorf's Corner, Jugville (it was the site of the area's first tavern), and Parisville.

The Bristol Renaissance Faire is a Renaissance fair held in a Renaissance-themed park in the village of Bristol in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. Its 30-acre site runs along the Wisconsin-Illinois state line west of Interstate 94. It recreates the visit of Queen Elizabeth I to the English port city of Bristol in 1574. The faire runs for nine weekends from early July through Labor Day.
