American University Preparatory School (commonly referred to as AUP) is a private, for-profit, four-year, co-educational boarding and day college preparatory high school for grades 9-12 located in Los Angeles, California, at the center of downtown Los Angeles. Its curricular focus is on Global Studies & Citizenship, Digital Media Arts, Computer Science, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship in the 21st century.

Aquarius is a 1969–1970 sculpture by Jerome Kirk, installed in Los Angeles's Bunker Hill neighborhood, in the U.S. state of California. The abstract, kinetic, stainless steel artwork is installed outside Union Bank Plaza. The Los Angeles Conservancy has described the work as a "fin-like metal mobile sculpture".

Union Bank Plaza is a 40-story, 157 m (515 ft) office skyscraper located on South Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles, California. Construction of the building began in 1965 and was completed in 1968. It is currently the 22nd tallest building in Los Angeles. It was the first skyscraper to be built as part of the Bunker Hill Redevelopment Project. It was built in the International style, a popular way of designing buildings at the time. The complex was named a Los Angeles historic cultural monument in 2020. The building uses induction units for HVAC.

The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites is a 367-foot (112 m), 33-story hotel in Los Angeles, California, constructed between 1974 and 1976. Designed by architect John C. Portman Jr., it is the largest hotel in the city. The top floor has a revolving restaurant and bar. It was originally owned by investors that included a subsidiary of Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation and John Portman & Associates. The building is managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts (IHR), and is valued at US$200 million.

Global Cinematography Institute (GCI) is a film school that teaches new emerging technologies and concepts in the field of cinematography. Founded by Yuri Neyman, ASC and Vilmos Zsigmond, ASC, the Global Cinematography Institute aims to prepare filmmakers to take advantage of on-going advances in digital and virtual cinematography technologies through a curriculum known as Expanded Cinematography.In 2021, GCI announced that they were deferring all sessions and stopped taking student applications, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Shoshone is a 1981–1982 steel sculpture by Mark di Suvero, installed in Bunker Hill, Los Angeles, in the U.S. state of California.

Studio School Los Angeles was a performing arts and film school located in downtown Los Angeles. The school was founded in 2013 by Glenn Kalison, American actor, producer and entrepreneur, as Relativity School with the former film studio, Relativity Media. The name was changed to Studio School in 2017 following Relativity Media's bankruptcy. Hussian College Los Angeles initially launched its accredited BFA programs in October 2014, as a branch campus of Philadelphia's Hussian School of Art, and did so in affiliation with a major film studio. Recently, the Studio School Los Angeles name was changed to Hussain College Los Angeles (HCLA), and later to Hussain College - In Studio, its current name. The school graduated its inaugural class in Spring 2018 in a commencement ceremony that took place at historic Mack Sennett Studios. Ikumi Yoshimatsu, Japanese actress and social activist, and Lance Young, former DreamWorks Animation head of Creative Affairs gave the commencement addresses. By May, 2023, the college permanently closed after the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges warned it of concerns about student achievement. An instructor who had been hired in 2022 had been warned that enrollment had been falling.

The ARCO Center for Visual Art was a not-for-profit gallery, funded by the Atlantic Richfield Company in Los Angeles California. It opened in 1976 and closed in 1984. The gallery focused on contemporary art. It was located at the Atlantic Richfield Plaza, 505 South Flower Street. Selected exhibitors were Carlos Almaraz, Herbert Bayer, Peter Alexander, Larry Bell, Donald Cole, William Crutchfield, Walter Gabrielson, Joe Goode, George Herms, Craig Kauffman, Liga Pang, Don Potts, Joseph Raffael, Stuart Rapeport, Frank Romero, Edward Ruscha, Hassel Smith, Michael Todd.

FourFortyFour South Flower, formerly Citigroup Center, is a 627 ft (191 m) 48-story skyscraper at 444 South Flower Street in the Bunker Hill area of downtown Los Angeles, California. When completed in 1981, the tower was the fifth-tallest in the city.

Four Arches is a 63-foot-tall steel sculpture by Alexander Calder, installed in Los Angeles, California. The sculpture was completed in 1973–1974.

Jonathan Club is a social club with two California locations—one in Downtown Los Angeles and the other abutting the beach in Santa Monica. The club is routinely ranked as one of the top clubs in the world by Platinum Clubs of America.
