The Cascadia Art Museum is an art museum in Edmonds, Washington, primarily featuring art from the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. The museum opened in 2015 and has a collection of over 200 works.

The Edmonds Historical Museum is a free museum in Edmonds, Washington, which focuses on Edmonds' history through various exhibits and a small collection of artifacts. It was established in 1973 by the Edmonds-South Snohomish County Historical Society. It is located in downtown Edmonds at 118 5th Ave. North.

Andrew Carnegie Library is a library building located in Edmonds, Washington listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was constructed in 1910 after the city received a $5,000 grant from philanthropist Andrew Carnegie for the construction of a public library. The building numbers among its Beaux-Arts architectural features the Tiffany glass fan light over the main entrance and its terra cotta window and door surrounds and exterior corners.The city's library was originally established in 1901 and moved into the building on February 17, 1911. The building originally had a library on the upper floor, while Edmonds City Hall occupied the bottom floor. It subsequently served as the headquarters of the city's parks and recreation department. The building became the Edmonds Historical Museum in 1973.

Based on per capita income, one of the more reliable measures of affluence, Woodway ranks 6th of 522 areas in the state of Washington to be ranked. It is also the highest rank achieved in Snohomish County.

The district covers several cities in the north of the Seattle metropolitan area, east of Interstate 5, including parts of Bellevue, Marysville, and up north toward Arlington. In presidential elections, the 1st district has leaned Democratic. Under the old boundaries, Al Gore and John Kerry narrowly carried the district in 2000 and 2004, with 48% and 51% of the vote, respectively. In 2008, Barack Obama swept the district with 55.60% of the vote, while John McCain received 42%. Similarly, Hillary Clinton won the district in 2016 with 54% of the vote over Donald Trump with 38%, and in 2020 Joe Biden polled 59% to 38% for Donald Trump.

Edmonds Heights K-12 is a parent-school partnership program which supports parents who choose to be the primary educators of their children. Edmonds Heights offers classes to children ranging from kindergarten age to 12th grade. The EHK12 campus is located in a large section of the former Woodway High School campus. It is open four days a week and runs on a semester schedule. The school operates under the WAC 392-121-182 Alternative Learning Experience Requirements. Students and parents are required to submit monthly Progress Reports and develop a written student learning plan (WSLP) each month. Students are also expected to meet with certificated teachers at least monthly.

Scriber Lake High School (SLHS), located in the city of Edmonds, Washington, is one of five high schools within the Edmonds School District. It is the only High School of Choice within the district.

North American Martyrs Parish is a Roman Catholic parish in Edmonds, Washington, served by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP). The FSSP offers the Mass according to the form that was in use prior to the liturgical reforms of the Second Vatican Council in the 1960s. Following the publication of Pope Benedict XVI's motu proprio Summorum Pontificum in 2007, North American Martyrs Catholic Church became the first Tridentine Mass parish in Seattle to be directly supported by the Archdiocese of Seattle since Vatican II. Established as a quasi-parish, it was elevated to parish status in 2015. The parish is named after the North American Martyrs, eight Jesuit missionaries martyred in the mid-17th century.

The Kruckeberg Botanic Garden (1.6 ha / 4 acres) is a botanical garden located at 20312 Fifteenth Avenue NW, Shoreline, Washington. It is currently a private residence, open to the public at designated hours which alternate seasonally. It is also open for tours, by appointment, and for horticultural workshops. The garden was first begun in 1958 by Prof. Arthur Rice Kruckeberg, University of Washington, and his wife Mareen Schultz Kruckeberg. A foundation was formed in 1998 to preserve their garden, and in 2003 it received an easement to preserve the garden in perpetuity. The garden contains a mix of native species with non-native specimens, mainly from China and Japan. It includes exotic conifers (larches, sequoias, pines, firs, spruces, and hemlocks); hardwoods, especially oaks and maples; rhododendrons, magnolias, a unique wingnut, and many other woody plants, as well as notable displays of ferns, cyclamens, wood sorrel, and inside-out flower. The garden contains four State Champion trees: Tanoak (Lithocarpus densiflorus), mutant Tanoak (Lithocarpus densiflorus 'Attenuato-dentatus'), striped-bark maple (Acer davidii), and Chokecherry (Prunus virginiana). It also contains various rare trees of interest, including Caucasian Spruce, Brewer's Spruce, Chilean fire tree (Embothrium coccineum), and Eucryphia glutinosa.

Edmonds is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. It is located in the southwest corner of the county, facing Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains to the west. The city is part of the Seattle metropolitan area and is located 15 miles (24 km) north of Seattle and 18 miles (29 km) southwest of Everett. With a population of 42,853 residents in the 2020 U.S. census, Edmonds is the third most populous city in the county. Edmonds was established in 1876 by logger George Brackett, who bought the land claim of an earlier settler. It was incorporated as a city in 1890, shortly before the arrival of the Great Northern Railway. Early residents of the city were employed by the shingle mills and logging companies that operated in the area until the 1950s. The hills surrounding Edmonds were developed into suburban bedroom communities in the mid-to-late 20th century and subsequently annexed into the city. Edmonds is a regional hub for the arts, with museums, specialized facilities, and major annual festivals within the city's downtown area. The city is connected to nearby areas by two state highways and the state ferry system, which operates a ferry route to Kingston on the Kitsap Peninsula. Public transit service in Edmonds is centered around the downtown train station, served by Amtrak and Sounder commuter trains, and includes several Community Transit bus routes that travel through outlying neighborhoods.

Esperance is a census-designated place (CDP) in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. Esperance is an enclave of the city of Edmonds, Washington. The population was 3,601 at the 2010 census.

Robert Lang Studios is a recording studio in Shoreline, Washington, United States. Numerous bands have recorded at Robert Lang Studios since 1974 including Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Band, Death Cab for Cutie, Brandi Carlile, Heart, Kenny G., Macklemore, Queensryche, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Soundgarden, Train, Portugal. The Man, Peter Frampton, Lil Wayne, The Blood Brothers, Candlebox, and Bush. In late January 1994, Nirvana recorded their last known studio recording at Robert Lang Studios. It was at this session that "You Know You're Right" was recorded. In October of the same year, Dave Grohl, formerly of Nirvana, recorded Foo Fighters' self-titled debut album. Later, the Foo Fighters returned to the studio in 2014 to record "Subterranean" and showcased the song in the penultimate episode of their 2014 HBO rockumentary mini-series Foo Fighters Sonic Highways.
