The Perry County Courthouse is a historic government building in the city of New Lexington, Ohio, United States. Built near the end of the nineteenth century after the end of a county seat war, it is the fifth courthouse to serve Perry County, and it has been named a historic site because of its imposing architecture.

This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.The airport has a unique arrangement in that a rail line passes underneath the runway. As originally planned, the location of the line at the end of the runway would have reduced its length due to minimum altitude requirements, so the airport was shifted west and the rail line placed in a tunnel.In 2021, the airport received a $22,000 grant to fund operations, personnel, cleaning, sanitization, janitorial services, debt service payments, and combating the spread of pathogens.

Rehoboth is located along State Route 345, a short distance north (2 miles) of the county seat of New Lexington, and its ZIP code of 43764 is New Lexington's ZIP code. John and Eli Gardner platted Rehoboth in 1815. Expecting to see a new county created in the area, they included a public square and space for a courthouse in their plat. Two years later, when Perry County was formed, Rehoboth narrowly lost to Somerset in an election to determine the county seat. In later years, tobacco farming became the mainstay of Perry County's economy, and Rehoboth was the center of the tobacco-growing region.

State Route 13 runs through Moxahala, connecting it with New Lexington to the northwest and Rendville to the southeast. Moxahala was laid out in 1873. Milligan is a small unincorporated community in southern Harrison Township, Perry County, Ohio, United States. It is located on State Route 93 between Crooksville and New Lexington. Milligan's main significance lies in its being the location of the lowest recorded temperature in Ohio history, -39° Fahrenheit. This temperature was recorded at a United States Weather Bureau station on February 10, 1899, during the Great Blizzard of 1899, when the entire state experienced bitterly cold weather for over a week. It is believed that Milligan is so cold because of its location within the valley of the Moxahala Creek, into which cold air flows from the surrounding hills.A post office called Milligan was established in 1893, and remained in operation until 1902.
