Rehoboth is an unincorporated community in southern Clayton Township, Perry County, Ohio, United States. Rehoboth is located along State Route 345, a short distance north (2 miles) of the county seat of New Lexington, and its ZIP code of 43764 is New Lexington's ZIP code. John and Eli Gardner platted Rehoboth in 1815. Expecting to see a new county created in the area, they included a public square and space for a courthouse in their plat. Two years later, when Perry County was formed, Rehoboth narrowly lost to Somerset in an election to determine the county seat. In later years, tobacco farming became the mainstay of Perry County's economy, and Rehoboth was the center of the tobacco-growing region.

It broadcasts a hot adult contemporary format, featuring a number of syndicated female-oriented lifestyle talk shows. Licensed to New Lexington, Ohio, WWJM, like many stations in the region, also targets listeners in the nearby Zanesville, Ohio area. It maintains an FM translator, W233AK (94.5 FM), in Zanesville itself. Though WWJM's overall music format is considered Hot Adult Contemporary, the station carries a weekday schedule of lifestyle-oriented talk shows syndicated by Dial Global. The shows, produced by WLNK in Charlotte, North Carolina, include Bob and Sheri and Matt and Ramona.

The Perry County Courthouse is a historic government building in the city of New Lexington, Ohio, United States. Built near the end of the nineteenth century after the end of a county seat war, it is the fifth courthouse to serve Perry County, and it has been named a historic site because of its imposing architecture.

Saint Joseph's Catholic Church is a historic church in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus, located in Somerset, Ohio. It is one of the oldest Catholic church buildings in Ohio and home to Ohio's oldest Catholic parish which has been served by priests of the Dominican order since its foundation. Built in 1843, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Perry County Airport (FAA LID: I86) is a public use airport located two nautical miles (4 km) south of the central business district of New Lexington, in Perry County, Ohio, United States. It is owned by the Perry County Airport Authority. This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.The airport has a unique arrangement in that a rail line passes underneath the runway. As originally planned, the location of the line at the end of the runway would have reduced its length due to minimum altitude requirements, so the airport was shifted west and the rail line placed in a tunnel.In 2021, the airport received a $22,000 grant to fund operations, personnel, cleaning, sanitization, janitorial services, debt service payments, and combating the spread of pathogens.

Somerset is a village in Perry County, Ohio, United States. The population as of the 2020 census was 1,481. It is located 9.5 miles north of the county seat New Lexington and has a dedicated historical district. Saint Joseph Church, the oldest Catholic church in Ohio, is located just outside Somerset on State Route 383.
