Trient Hut

The Pointe d'Orny (3,271 m) is a mountain of the Mont Blanc massif, located west of Orsières in the canton of Valais. It lies north-east of the Plateau du Trient. Below the summit lies the Cabane du Trient, a mountain hut operated by the Swiss Alpine Club.

The Petite Pointe d'Orny is a mountain of the Mont Blanc Massif, overlooking the Trient Glacier in the canton of Valais. It lies north of the Pointe d'Orny.

Le Portalet is a mountain of the Mont Blanc massif, located west of Praz de Fort in the canton of Valais. It lies on the range between the glaciers of Trient and Saleina. It has two important subsidiary summits: Grand Clocher du Portalet (2,983 m) and Petit Clocher du Portalet (2,823 m). The latter forms a needle and is particularly hard to climb.

The Trient Glacier (French: Glacier du Trient) is a 4.3 km long glacier (2007) in the Mont Blanc Massif in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. In 1973 it had an area of 6.4 km². The upper part of the glacier forms a large plateau named Plateau du Trient. The glacier constitutes the source of the river Trient.

The Pointe des Ecandies is a mountain of the Mont Blanc Massif, located between Trient and Champex in the canton of Valais. It is located north of the Pointe d'Orny and east of the Trient Glacier.

The Aiguilles Dorées (3,519 m) are a multi-summited mountain of the Mont Blanc massif, overlooking the Plateau du Trient in the canton of Valais. They lie east of the Petite Fourche, on the range between the glaciers of Trient and Saleina. The main (and westernmost) summit is named Aiguille de la Varappe. The other summits are the Tête Biselx (3,509 m) and Le Trident (3,436 m).

The Pointe des Plines (3,052 m) is a minor peak on the east edge of the Mont Blanc massif, close to the Aiguille Dorees, and overlooking the Saleina Glacier in the canton of Valais. A shelter of the Swiss Alpine Club, the Bivouac de l'Envers des Dorées, is located west of the summit.

Le Génépi (2,884 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Mont Blanc massif, located west of Champex in the canton of Valais. It is the culminating point of the group lying north of the Fenêtre d'Arpette.

The Saleina Glacier (French: Glacier de saleina, formerly spelled Saleinaz) is a 6 km (3.7 mi) long glacier (2002) situated on the north-eastern edge of the Mont Blanc Massif in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. It flows in a roughly north-easterly direction from the Aiguille d'Argentière, down towards the Val Ferret. The Saleina Hut sits above its right bank at an altitude of 2,691 meters above sea level.

The Grande Fourche is a mountain in the Mont Blanc Massif, located on the Swiss-French border. It lies between the Glacier de Saleina (Valais) and the Glacier du Tour (Haute-Savoie).

The Aiguille du Tour (3,540 metres (11,614 ft)) is a mountain in the Mont Blanc massif, located on the border between Switzerland and France. The voie normale on the mountain is graded F (facile) and can be climbed from either the Albert Premier Hut on the French side or the Trient Hut on the Swiss side. The Aiguille du Pissoir (3,440 m) and the Aiguille Purtscheller (3,475 m) are secondary summits located respectively north and south of the Aiguille du Tour.

The Grande Lui or Grand-Luy (Lui or Luy being toponyms designating a rock) (3,509 m) is a mountain of the Mont Blanc massif, located west of La Fouly in the canton of Valais. It lies east of the Aiguille de l'A Neuve, on the range between the glaciers of Saleina and L'A Neuve.
