Heping Xiqiao Station (simplified Chinese: 和平西桥站; traditional Chinese: 和平西橋站; pinyin: Hépíngxīqiáo Zhàn) is a station on Line 5 of the Beijing Subway.

The China-Japan Friendship Hospital (Chinese: 中日友好医院) also abbreviated as China-Japan Hospital was established through the cooperation of the Chinese and Japanese governments during the 1980s. The hospital has been directly affiliated with China's Ministry of Health since its first day of operation, October 23, 1984. The hospital often attends to the health care of senior officials from over 100 countries and regions.The hospital is the teaching hospital of Beijing University Medical School, Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China Medical University and Tianjin Medical University, etc. The hospital carries out medical care, education, scientific research, preventative medicine and rehabilitation.

The Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM, Chinese: 北京中医药大学) is a public university in China. Founded in 1956, it is one of the first traditional Chinese medical institutions for higher learning in China. The university is affiliated with the Ministry of Education. It is part of Project 211 and the Double First-Class Construction.

Huixin Xijie Nankou station (Chinese: 惠新西街南口站; pinyin: Huìxīn Xījiē Nánkǒu zhàn) is a station on Line 5 and Line 10 of the Beijing Subway. The station handled a peak passenger traffic of 241,700 people on May 5, 2013.The two parts of the station opened separately: Line 5 and part of the concourse opened October 7, 2007, while the rest opened along with Line 10 on July 19, 2008.

Hepingli Subdistrict (Chinese: 和平里街道; pinyin: hépínglǐ jiēdào) is a residential neighborhood and a subdistrict of Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is situated in the northeastern part of the city between the northern 2nd Ring Road and the northern 3rd Ring Road. The neighborhood is bordered by Andingmen Waidajie to the west and Hepingli Dongjie to the east. Hepingli has 102,227 residents in 2020, and comprises 20 residential areas (社区) or zones. Most apartment buildings were built in the 1950s to 1960s. In the early 2000s, most buildings were repainted.

Guangximen Station (simplified Chinese: 光熙门站; traditional Chinese: 光熙門站; pinyin: Guāngxīmén Zhàn) is a station on Line 13 of the Beijing Subway. It is located south of the interchange of North 3rd Ring Road East and the southern terminus of the Jingcheng Expressway, known as Taiyanggong Bridge (太阳宫桥).

Qingnianhu Park (Chinese: 青年湖; pinyin: Qīngnián Hú; literally "Youth Lake") is a city park in Beijing, situated in Dongcheng District, west of Andingmenwai Street. The park was built in 1960 and covers an area of 170,000 square metres (1,800,000 sq ft). Qingnianhu, or Youth Lake, accounts for about a third of the park's area. The lake was dug by teenage volunteers organized by the local government in 1958. Public transportation can be used to get to the park, which lies just outside Ditan station served by bus lines 18, 104, and 108. An entrance fee of 2 yuan is required as of 2012.

The Publishing House of Minority Nationalities (Chinese: 民族出版社; pinyin: Mínzú Chūbǎnshè) is a publishing house established on January 15, 1953, as a division of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, and focused on academic publishing. Its headquarters are located in Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. Its current director and editor-in-chief is Yu Binxi (Chinese: 禹宾熙).
