Southworth, Washington

Harper is an unincorporated community in Kitsap County, in the U.S. state of Washington. It is part of the Southworth census-designated place.

Sylvan Beach is a community located within Vashon, Washington, in King County, Washington, on the west side of Vashon Island on Colvos Passage. It is known as one of Vashon's walk-in communities, since most of the homes can only be reached by walking in from the road on the community's boardwalk. Supplies and goods are conveyed to the homes using wheelbarrows.

Blake Island (Lushootseed: tatču) is a Puget Sound island in Kitsap County, Washington, United States, that is preserved as Blake Island Marine State Park. The island lies north of Vashon Island, south of Bainbridge Island, and east of Manchester. On the northeast end of the island is Tillicum Village, a tourist attraction based on Northwest Coast Indian arts, culture, and food. The park is managed by the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission.

Tillicum Village is a Puget Sound area visitor attraction located on Blake Island, a Washington State Park accessible only by boat, which is off the shore of Seattle, Washington, United States. Founded in 1962 by Bill Hewitt, control of Tillicum Village was sold to Argosy Cruises in 2009. Argosy Cruises operated the Tillicum Excursion, a four-hour cruise from Pier 55 in central Seattle to Tillicum Village and back, from 2009 to 2021.

South Colby is an unincorporated community in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. It is located on Yukon Harbor, 2 miles (3 km) west of the Southworth Ferry Dock. From there, a ferry is available to Fauntleroy in the West Seattle neighborhood of Seattle. South Colby is part of the Southworth census-designated place. Colby is a shortening and alteration of "Coal Bay".

The Colvos Store, also known as the Kress Store and Belcher Home, is a combination residence and commercial building in Vashon, Washington. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 10, 2000.

Glen Acres is a community on Vashon Island located about two miles north of the town of Vashon.

Fragaria is an unincorporated community in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. A post office called Fragaria was established in 1911, and remained in operation until 1955. The community was named for the local cultivation of strawberries (scientific name: Fragaria).

Manchester is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. The population was 5,714 at the 2020 census. Manchester is located on the Puget Sound approximately 10 miles from downtown Seattle, and is adjacent to county seat Port Orchard to its east. Today, Manchester labels itself as a village. It is small in size but is home to a Kitsap Regional Library (KRL) branch, a post office, an elementary school, and a beachfront park to serve its residents.

Toe Jam Hill, 425 feet tall, is the high point on Bainbridge Island, Washington and one of the highest points in Kitsap County, Washington.Its name has several explanations, including that it was named for a local settler with the name Torjam (the explanation given by the local historical society), that it was named for stumbling drunkards, or that existing explanations are "all conjecture".The hill was once a "villainous" milestone for bicycle riders on the Chilly Hilly season opener sponsored by Seattle's Cascade Bicycle Club, and on the Bainbridge Island Half Marathon, formerly called Toe Jam Hill Half Marathon.The Bainbridge Island high point's location is reported variously at highpointing websites. Peakbagger.com gives Toe Jam Hill at 15 feet higher or more, based on newer high-resolution LIDAR maps.LIDAR surveys in the 1990s also identified a geologic fault, now named the Toe Jam Hill Fault, north of the hill. It may intersect and may be secondary to the Seattle Fault. It was the first fault discovered by laser imagery.A city park, Nutes Pond Park (also spelled Nute's Pond), was created on Toe Jam Hill in 2011.

Fort Ward is a former United States Army coastal artillery fort, and later, a Navy installation located on the southwest side of Bainbridge Island, Washington, along Rich Passage.

The Mukai Cold Process Fruit Barrelling [sic] Plant (also known as Mukai and Sons, Vashon Island Packing Company, or VIPCO) in Vashon, Washington, U.S., is a former fruit processing plant originally constructed and owned by the Japanese American Mukai family. In 1993 it became the first location associated with Japanese American history to be designated a King County landmark and was listed the following year on the National Register of Historic Places. The National Park Service (NPS) describes the 4.8-acre (1.9 ha) site as "a rare, intact example of a property associated with the history of Japanese American settlement in Washington."
