WOGB (103.1 FM) is a classic hits radio station licensed to Reedsville, Wisconsin, and serving Northeast Wisconsin. WOGB's studios are located on Victoria Street in Green Bay, while its transmitter is located near Shirley in the Town of Glenmore. The station launched in the mid-1990s and initially featured music mostly from Rock and Roll's formative years. By 2008, WOGB had transitioned to a Classic Hits genre, featuring primarily hit songs from the 1970s and 1980s. WOGB is owned by Cumulus Media. WOGB is very active in community activities throughout Northeast Wisconsin. It helps a variety of charities with fundraising efforts, including The Red Cross, The American Heart Association, the Breast Cancer Family Foundation, Paul's Pantry, the Brown County Volunteer Center and a variety of other public interest groups and charities. Since 2012, WOGB has been directly involved promoting the City of Green Bay's annual "Kid's Day" activities, held every June 25. The station's current on-air lineup includes Rachel Williams (6 am-9 am), Jeff Kelly (9 am-2 pm), Eric Westphal (2 pm-7 pm), and Tom Kent (7 pm- Midday). WOGB has received several awards and other recognitions, including a Finalist award as one of the three best Green Bay radio stations in the 2011, 2013 and 2017 "Best of the Bay" Awards, as voted by readers of a local newspaper. In 2012 the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association awarded WOGB a first place award in the Best Specialty Category for its annual Christmas program, "WOGB's 36 Hours of Christmas."

WKSZ (95.9 FM, "Kiss FM") is a contemporary hit radio station licensed to De Pere, Wisconsin, serving Green Bay and Appleton-Oshkosh and owned by Woodward Communications. WKSZ's studios are located on College Avenue in Appleton, while its transmitter is located near Shirley in the Town of Glenmore.

WEMY (91.5 FM) is a Christian radio station serving the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. The station's format consists of Christian adult contemporary music with some Christian talk and teaching. WEMY is also heard in the Manitowoc–Two Rivers area through a translator on 95.5. It is part of "The Family" radio network based at WEMI in Appleton. Prior to being a Christian radio station, 91.5 in Green Bay was established as WGBW, the radio station of the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay (UWGB), which later was absorbed into the Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) network. The establishment of the higher-powered WHID (88.1 FM) superseded WGBW as a public station and led to the sale of the frequency to its present owners.

Shirley is an unincorporated community in the town of Glenmore, Brown County, Wisconsin, United States. It is located on Wisconsin Highway 96.

Shirley Wind is a wind farm in the Shirley section of Glenmore, Brown County, Wisconsin. The site, which opened in 2011, includes eight Nordex 2.5 (MW) wind turbines, each about 500 feet (150 m) tall. Originally developed by Emerging Energies LLC, it is owned by Duke Energy. When the wind farm was built, the turbines were the tallest in the state of Wisconsin, and among the tallest in North America. Following a study conducted in 2013, the Brown County Board of Health declared the Shirley Wind Farm a “human health hazard” in 2014. In 2015 the Brown County Health Director Chua Xiong said that there was insufficient scientific evidence to link wind turbines to illnesses experienced by residents.

WPNE (89.3 FM) is a radio station licensed to Green Bay, Wisconsin. The station is part of Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR), and airs WPR's "NPR News and Classical Network", consisting of classical music and news and talk programming. WPNE-FM also broadcasts regional news and programming from studios in the Instructional Services building at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, along with sister Ideas Network station WHID (88.1). WPNE-FM transmits from facilities shared with WBAY-TV, WIXX, and WPNE-TV in Ledgeview. The station signed on in 1949 as WHKW, originally licensed in Chilton. It was the third FM station in the Wisconsin Educational Radio Network, forerunner of Wisconsin Public Radio. In 1973, WHKW moved to the WPNE-TV transmitter site in Green Bay after that station's launch the year before, and became WPNE-FM; it also supplanted an additional Wisconsin Educational Radio Network transmitter, WHMD-FM 91.5 at Suring, which had signed on in 1965.Unusual for a market of its size, as of the end of 2022, WPNE is the only radio station in Green Bay, the Fox Cities, and the Lake Winnebago cities which transmits an HD Radio broadcast; WPNE-HD2 transmits WPR's HD Classical Network full-time.

WIXX (101.1 FM) is a Top 40/CHR radio station licensed to and serving Green Bay, Wisconsin, along with Appleton, Oshkosh, and much of Northeast Wisconsin. The station is owned and operated by Wausau, Wisconsin-based Midwest Communications, and is part of a Midwest-owned cluster of 8 stations in the market. WIXX broadcasts from studios located on Bellevue Street in the Green Bay suburb of Bellevue, and transmits from a tower on Scray Hill in the Brown County town of Ledgeview, sharing a site with WBAY-TV, WPNE-TV, and WPNE-FM. WIXX's main competition comes from WKSZ/WKZY, a Top 40 (CHR) simulcast broadcasting to the same area.

Lark is an unincorporated community in the town of Morrison, Brown County, Wisconsin, United States. It is located on Wisconsin Highway 96.

Fort La Baye was a French military post at La Baye (today Green Bay, Wisconsin), originally built in 1684, remodeled in 1717, and occupied until 1760. One Commandant of the Fort was the famous Chevalier Jacques Testard de Montigny, Knight of the Order of St. Louis. By 1718, there were a number of French Canadian families living in the area near the fort. Other families settled across the river from the fort in an area which was called Munnomonee, because of the Menominee native people that lived there. Most of the families had come to La Baye from the Mackinac area. In 1733 the Sauks, allied to the Meskwaki (Fox), attacked the French at Fort La Baye. When a French force went out after them, the sons of De Villiers and Repentigny were killed. In 1737 Claude-Antoine de Bermen de La Martinière was appointed commander of the fort. Pierre-Paul Marin became the leader of a French force against the Meskwaki and Sauks. He prevailed and in 1739 the Marquis de Beauharnois, Governor of Canada, wrote "Sieur Marin has re-established peace and quietness".

Scray Hill (also known possessively as Scray's Hill) is an 892-foot (272 m) summit in Brown County, Wisconsin, at 44°24′58″N 87°59′48″W. Located just south of De Pere, much of the hill is in the Town of Glenmore; some of its northwestern edges are in the Town of Ledgeview. Scray Hill is home to many television, radio, and communications towers and transmitters, as well as the Central Brown County Water Authority (CBCWA) storage facility.Scray Hill is part of the Niagara Escarpment (locally called the Ledge), a long, steep slope marking the edge of a plateau that stretches from New York to Wisconsin.

Ledgeview is a town in Brown County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 6,555 as of the 2010 census, up from 3,363 at the 2000 census.
