Torgdragargränd

Funckens Gränd is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Leading south from the street Västerlånggatan to the square Kornhamnstorg, it forms a parallel street to Torgdragargränd and Triewaldsgränd.

Kornhamnstorg (Swedish: "Grain Harbour Square"[1]) is a public square in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Known as Kornhaffn (1427), Jernboen (1586), Åkaretorget (1644), and Kornhampns torget (1651), it is connected to the streets: Munkbroleden, Lilla Nygatan, Stora Nygatan, Torgdragargränd, Funckens Gränd, Triewaldsgränd. The statue of a man drawing a bow on the square, often misinterpreted as depicting William Tell, was inaugurated in 1916 as an homage to Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson, leader of the Engelbrekt rebellion (1434–1436) against the German-dominated government of Eric of Pomerania. The statue was carved by the sculptor Christian Eriksson (1859–1935).

Mårten Trotzigs gränd (Swedish: "Alley of Mårten Trotzig") is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Leading from Västerlånggatan and Järntorget up to Prästgatan and Tyska Stallplan, the width of its 37 steps tapers down to a mere 90 centimetres (35 in), making the alley the narrowest street in Stockholm.

The German Church (German: Deutsche Kirche, Swedish: Tyska kyrkan), sometimes called St. Gertrude's Church (Swedish: Sankta Gertruds kyrka), is a church in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden, belonging to the German Saint Gertrude Parish of the Church of Sweden.Located between the streets Tyska Brinken, Kindstugatan, Svartmangatan, and Prästgatan, it is named for standing in the centre of a neighbourhood that in the Middle Ages was dominated by Germans. Officially named Sankta Gertrud, the church is dedicated to Saint Gertrude (626-659), abbess of the Benedictine monastery of Nivelles, in present-day Belgium, and patron saint of travellers.

Svartmangatan (Swedish: (literally)) "Black Man Street") is a street in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching south-east from the central square Stortorget to Södra Benickebrinken and Norra Benickebrinken leading to the eastern main street Österlånggatan, it is intercepted by Kindstugatan, Tyska Skolgränd, Tyska Brunnsplan, Själagårdsgatan, Tyska Stallplan, and Baggensgatan, while forming a parallel street to Skomakargatan and Prästgatan. The name refers to the Blackfriar monastery once located at the southern end of the street. Mentioned as early as 1437 and thus one of the oldest streets of Stockholm, Svartmangatan was once also one of its main streets, leading from the central square to the abbey of the Blackfriars. Until the 17th century it was called Svartmunka - or Svartbrödra - ("black monks/brothers"), and, because there are no records of the Dominican friars being referred to as "black men", the only reasonable explanation for the present name of the street is an attempt to create an analogy to Köpmangatan ("The Merchant's Street", or literally "buyer-man-street"), a street also leading from Stortorget.

Tyska Stallplan (Swedish: "German Stable Square" or literally "Plane") is a street in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching south from Svartmangatan to Prästgatan, it is connected to Baggensgatan and Mårten Trotzigs Gränd, while forming a (somewhat) parallel street to Österlånggatan and Tyska Brinken. By the street are the public library and the major school (Storkyrkoskolan, "School of the Great Church" (e.g. Storkyrkan)) of the told town. While named a square, it undoubtedly remains a matter of taste and definition whether this elongated open space should be regarded as a street.

Tyska Brunnsplan (Swedish: "German Well Square") is a small, triangular public square in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. It is located in the junction between the streets Svartmangatan and Själagårdsgatan, the former leading to Stortorget and the latter to Brända Tomten. As several local names knows to tell (e.g. Tyska Stallplan and Tyska Skolgränd) the square is named after the vicinity to the German Church and the German community which once occupied the neighbourhood.

Bacchi Wapen was a high-end music venue and restaurant in Järntorgsgatan, Gamla stan, Stockholm, Sweden. The building is several centuries old and is a fine example of 18th century neo-classical architecture.Bacchi Wapen went bankrupt in 2002 but opened again in 2004 under the name Bacci Bar, and in 2007 as the mixed and gay bar Pigalle. Since 2009, the location is used by a bar belonging to the O'Learys sports bar franchise. Artists who have performed at the venue include Lill-Babs, Lill Lindfors, Lars Berghagen, Rockfolket, Laila Westersund, Gösta Linderholm, Sveriges Jazzband, Bernt Dahlbäck, Cornelis Vreeswijk, Eva Rydberg, Ewa Roos, Jarl Borssén, Owe Thörnqvist, Kalle Sändare, Trio Hellenique, etc.

Järntorget (Swedish for 'The Iron Square') is a small public square in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Located in the southernmost corner of the old town, the square connects the thoroughfares Västerlånggatan and Österlånggatan, while the two alleys, Södra Bankogränd and Norra Bankogränd, stretches east to connect the square to Skeppsbron, and two other alleys, Järntorgsgatan and Triewaldsgränd, leads south to Slussplan and Kornhamnstorg respectively. The second oldest square in Stockholm, slightly younger than Stortorget, Järntorget dates back to around 1300 and remained the city's most important trade centre for centuries — constantly busy and crowded, scents and noise intermixing while goods were transported from shore to shore across the square and up and down the attics of the surrounding buildings.

Tyska Brinken (Swedish: The German Slope) is a street in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Extending Kindstugatan past the German Church down to the square Mälartorget, it is crossed by Skomakargatan, Prästgatan, Västerlånggatan, Stora Nygatan, Lilla Nygatan, and Munkbrogatan, while forming a parallel street to Schönfeldts Gränd and Lejonstedts Gränd.

Järntorgsgatan is a street in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching south from the square Järntorget to Slussplan, it is intercepted by Norra Dryckesgränd and Södra Dryckesgränd and forms a parallel street to Triewaldsgränd and Skeppsbron. One of the most historic streets in Old Town Stockholm, Järntorgsgatan spans from the Old Iron Market to Slussplan Island. Nicknamed “The Big Street,” the street once was a main outlet to Södermalm. This is one of the most heavily populated areas in Stockholm. streets are lined with middle class dwellings and dates back hundreds of years.

Kindstugatan is a street in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching west from Brända Tomten to become Tyska Brinken in its western end, it is crossed by Svartmangatan and Skomakargatan.
