St Mary's Church is a Church of England parish church in Chaddesden, a suburb of Derby, England. One of the oldest churches in the city, it is a Grade I listed building dating back to the mid-14th century.

Da Vinci Academy is a co-educational secondary school located in Derby, Derbyshire, England.The school originally opened in 1988 as High View Community Education Centre. It also became known as High View School and Technology Centre and High View Technology Centre. The school was formally closed and replaced by da Vinci Community College in September 2004 and moved into new buildings in 2006. In January 2012, the school became a co-operative - "owned" by the school's pupils, parents, teachers, and the community. As a foundation school, da Vinci Community College was administered by Derby City Council, the University of Derby, Derby College, the Workers' Educational Association and the Midlands Co-operative Society. In May 2017 da Vinci Community School converted to academy status and was renamed Da Vinci Academy. The school is now sponsored by the LEAD Academy Trust.

Lees Brook Community School (previously Lees Brook Sports College) is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form located in the Chaddesden area of Derby, in the English county of Derbyshire.Previously a foundation school administered by Derby City Council, Lees Brook converted to with academy status in September 2011. However the school continues to coordinate with Derby City Council for admissions. The school moved to a new building on the same site in November 2014. Lees Brook Community School offers GCSEs, BTECs and NCFEs as programmes of study for pupils. The school also operates a vocational sixth form provision.

Pride Park Stadium is an all-seater football stadium in Derby, England, that is the home ground of English Football League club Derby County. With a capacity of 32,956, it is the 16th-largest football ground in England. Pride Park is a business park on the outskirts of Derby city centre, and the stadium was built as part of the commercial redevelopment of the area in the 1990s. Derby County have played at the ground since it opened in 1997 as a replacement for the Baseball Ground. Due to sponsorship, the venue was officially known as the iPro Stadium between 2013 and 2016. Pride Park has hosted two full international matches, England v. Mexico in 2001 and Brazil v. Ukraine in 2010, several England under-21 matches, and the 2009 Women's FA Cup Final.

The Sanctuary is a bird and wildlife sanctuary and designated local nature reserve (LNR) located on Pride Park in the city of Derby, England. It is on a twelve hectare site on the west bank of the River Derwent, adjacent to Pride Park Stadium and Derby Arena. Controversial plans by the local council owners to build a closed circuit cycle race track over part of the local nature reserve would have set a national precedent, potentially exposing all LNRs in England to harmful development., but were withdrawn in 2014 following widespread opposition and in the face of legal action and a judicial review of the planning decision.

Derby Arena is a multi-use indoor arena and velodrome at Pride Park in Derby, England. It was opened in 2015 and has hosted cycling, badminton and entertainment events.

The County Cricket Ground (usually shortened to the County Ground, also known as the Racecourse Ground; currently the Incora County Ground due to sponsorship) is a cricket ground in Derby, England. It has been the home of Derbyshire County Cricket Club since 1871. The ground was first used by South Derbyshire Cricket Club in 1863 and was initially located within Derby Racecourse, although racing ceased after 1939. The ground has staged two One-Day Internationals: New Zealand against Sri Lanka during the 1983 ICC Cricket World Cup and New Zealand against Pakistan during the 1999 ICC Cricket World Cup. It was one of the venues for the 2017 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup, hosting one of the semi-finals. The ground was also formerly used for football, and was the home of Derby County F.C. between 1884 and 1895. It staged the first ever FA Cup Final match played outside London, a replay of the 1886 Final, and hosted an international match between England and Ireland in 1895.
