Bang Khen (Thai: บางเขน, pronounced [bāːŋ kʰěːn]) is one of the 50 districts (khet) of Bangkok, Thailand. It is bounded by other Bangkok districts (from north clockwise): Sai Mai, Khlong Sam Wa, Khan Na Yao, Bueng Kum, Lat Phrao, Chatuchak, Lak Si, and Don Mueang.

Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Station (Thai: สถานีวัดพระศรีมหาธาตุ, RTGS: Sathani Wat Phra Si Maha That, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː wát pʰráʔ sǐː mā.hǎː tʰâːt]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located in front of Wat Phra Sri Mahathat and is above Lak Si Roundabout. It is one of the few stations on the line with an island platform. The station is part of the northern extension of the Sukhumvit Line and opened on 5 June 2020, as part of phase 3.An interchange to the MRTA Pink Line is under construction and is planned to open in 2023.

The Constitution Defense Monument, built as the Rebellion Suppression Monument and later also known as the Lak Si Monument, was a public monument in Bangkok, Thailand. It was erected in 1936 to commemorate the government's victory over the 1933 Boworadet Rebellion, and stood until its unexplained removal in 2018. The monument was built by the People's Party government, which came to power with the abolition of absolute monarchy in 1932. After they defeated the rebellion—a royalist coup attempt led by Prince Boworadet—the government built a highway, now Phahonyothin Road, to strengthen its control of Bangkok's northern fringe, where much of the fighting took place. A monument was built there, in a plaza next to the road, to mark the event and honor the men who died fighting for the government. Over the following decade, the monument was used as a patriotic symbol for the new constitutional state under Prime Minister Plaek Phibunsongkhram, but this narrative was challenged after a 1947 coup d'état brought a resurgence of the royalist faction. The monument subsequently lost most of its political significance, until pro-democracy protest movements revived it as a focal point during the 2010s. In December 2018, the monument was secretly removed overnight without explanation, an act believed to be part of an ongoing effort to erase the architectural legacy of the People's Party government. The site of the monument is now a traffic circle in Bang Khen district, known as Lak Si or Bang Khen Circle/Roundabout. It forms the meeting point of Chaeng Watthana and Ram Inthra roads with Phahonyothin; its central island is now occupied by the elevated Wat Phra Sri Mahathat station, an interchange station of the Sukhumvit BTS and Pink MRT lines.

Wat Phra Si Mahathat Wora Maha Viharn (Thai: วัดพระศรีมหาธาตุวรมหาวิหาร) is a Buddhist temple in the Bang Khen District of Bangkok. Construction began in 20 March 1941 in commemoration of the government victory over the Boworadet rebellion in 1933. Wat Phra Si Mahathat was designated a first-class royal monastery in 1942, making it one of the most significant temples in Thailand.The temple is served by Wat Phra Sri Mahathat BTS station since June 2020.

Phahonyothin 59 Station (Thai: สถานีพหลโยธิน 59, RTGS: Sathani Phahon Yothin Ha Sip Kao, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː pʰā.hǒn jōː.tʰīn hâː sìp kâːw]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Bangkok, Thailand. The station is part of the northern extension of the Sukhumvit Line and opened on 16 December 2020, as part of phase 4.

11th Infantry Regiment Station (Thai: สถานีกรมทหารราบที่ 11, RTGS: Sathani Krom Thahan Rap Thi Sip Et, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː krōm tʰā.hǎːn râːp tʰîː sìp ʔèt]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located in front of the headquarters of the 11th Infantry Regiment of the Royal Thai Army. The station is part of the northern extension of the Sukhumvit Line and opened on 5 June 2020, as part of phase 3.

Sai Yud Station (Thai: สถานีสายหยุด, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː sǎːj.jùt]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Bangkok, Thailand. The station is part of the northern extension of the Sukhumvit Line and opened on 16 December 2020, as part of phase 4.

Bang Duan (Thai: บางด้วน, pronounced [bāːŋ dûa̯n]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Phasi Charoen District, in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2020, it had a total population of 28,156 people.Its name "Bang Duan" is derived from the khlong Bang Duan, a canal runs through the area. Lert Suksom Community is a small community under the bridge over the Khlong Bang Khi Keng on Phutthamonthon Sai 1 Road. As a result of the construction of Phutthamonthon Sai 1 Road in 1997 through here, this community was also affected. The area around the community has become a wasteland and a dumping ground. Later in 2012, the community on both sides of the road joined with Siam University, turning the wasteland under the bridge into a vegetable garden plot. The dominant species is pandan. It is also a very prominent community in terms of waste management, until receiving an award from BMA and considered as a model of their own community development of other communities.

Lat Pla Khao Road (Thai: ถนนลาดปลาเค้า, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn lâːt plāː kʰáw]) is a road in form of soi (alley) in Bangkok. Regarded as a minor road bridging several main roads, such as Chok Chai 4, Prasoet Manukit, Ram Inthra, and its name also became the name of the place it ran through. Lat Pla Khao Road begins in Lat Phrao District, as a continuation of Lat Phrao Wang Hin Road at Wang Hin Intersection, where Lat Phrao Wang Hin Road meets Sena Nikhom 1 Road. It northward and slightly deflecting east, as far as entering Chorakhe Bua area and cuts through Prasoet Manukit Road. Then it headed northeast and swerved again in front of Wat Lat Pla Khao temple, and enter Bang Khen District with across Khlong Sam Kha canal, then go straight up till it ends at Lat Pla Khao Junction, where it merged with Ram Inthra Road.Its name was originally called "Rap Pla Khao" (ราบปลาเค้า) but has been distorted to "Lat Pla Khao" as it is today, because there used to be abundant wallago sheatfish (pla khao in Thai) in this area in the past. The road is also commonly known as "Soi Lat Pla Khao" (ซอยลาดปลาเค้า).Important figure who lives in the Lat Pla Khao neighbourhood is Sudarat Keyuraphan, a national female politician who was previously the Minister of Health.

Bang Bua Station (Thai: สถานีบางบัว, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː bāːŋ būa̯]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located in front of the Bang Khen Main Campus of Sripatum University and Bang Bua School. The station is part of the northern extension of the Sukhumvit Line and opened on 5 June 2020, as part of phase 3.

Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) (Thai: สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์) is a multidisciplinary post-graduate academic institute, comprising faculty members from the Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI), and other leading universities in Thailand, as well as from academic and research institutions from around the world. It is a part of the Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA), named after Princess Chulabhorn Walailak.
