The designation Cabanes du Breuil (French: [kaban dy bʁœj]) is applied to the former agricultural dependencies of a farm located at the place known as Calpalmas at Saint-André-d'Allas, in the Dordogne department in France. Dating from the 19th century, if not the very early 20th century, these buildings share two distinguishing features, their being covered by a dry stone corbelled vault underneath a roofing of stone tiles and their being in clusters.

The commune is located 15 km (9.3 mi) south of Sarlat-la-Canéda. It has two church buildings: an original Romanesque twelfth century church, Saint Vincent le Salvadou, and a nineteenth century replacement. It is named for St Vincent de Agen, a local third century saint.

Sarlat-la-Canéda (French pronunciation: [saʁla la kaneda] ; Occitan: Sarlat e La Canedat), commonly known as Sarlat, is a commune in the southwestern French department of Dordogne, a part of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Sarlat and La Canéda were distinct towns until merged into one commune in 1965.

Sarlat Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Sacerdos de Sarlat) is a Roman Catholic church and former cathedral located in Sarlat-la-Canéda, France. It is a national monument. The Diocese of Sarlat was established in 1317 with a number of bishoprics in the region in the aftermath of the suppression of the Albigensians. The new bishop of Sarlat was the abbot of the ancient Sarlat Abbey, the church of which became the cathedral. Rebuilding began in 1504, but was not completed until the 1680s. (The belfry dates from the 9th century). The diocese was abolished under the Concordat of 1801 and its territory was transferred to the Diocese of Périgueux. The dedication refers to Saint Sacerdos rather than to the Latin term sacerdos ("priest"). There are two French saints called Sacerdos, but the cathedral refers to Sacerdos of Limoges, whose relics it received during the Middle Ages.

Meyrals is a commune in the Dordogne department in the southwest of France. Meyrals is in the Périgord and, specifically, the Périgord Noir (Black Périgord), in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

Vézac (French pronunciation: [vezak]; Occitan: Vesac) is a commune in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. The main attraction of Vézac is the garden surrounding the Château de Marqueyssac —classified as a remarkable garden by the French Ministry of Culture—which was built in the 17th century by Bertrand Vernet, counsellor to the king. The original garden was created by a pupil of André Le Nôtre, and featured gardens, terraces, and a kitchen garden surrounding the chateau. A grand promenade one hundred metres long was added at the end of the 18th century. Beginning in 1866, the new owner, Julien de Cerval, who was inspired by Italian gardens, built rustic structures, redesigned the parterres, laid out five kilometres of walks, and planted pines and cypress trees.

The French Catholic diocese of Sarlat existed from 1317 to 1801. It was suppressed by the Concordat of 1801. Its territory passed to the diocese of Angoulême.The seat of the Bishop of Sarlat was at the Cathedral of Saint-Sacerdos, in the town of Sarlat in the Dordogne.
