Lamelas

Lamelas e Guimarei is a civil parish in the municipality of Santo Tirso, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Lamelas and Guimarei. The population in 2011 was 1,660, in an area of 12.41 km².

It has a population of 982 (2001 census) and an area of 3.45 square kilometres (1.33 sq mi). It is mostly residential, with some inhabitants working in agriculture.

It has a population of 736 (2001 census), and an area of 6.43 km2. It is located 3 km south of the center of the city of Santo Tirso in the Leça Valley. It is a residential place with some people working in agriculture.

It is located south in the city of Santo Tirso. At the 2001 census, its population was 3,982. It covers 7.8 km² of area. The area is also home to several industrial commercial facilities. Amigiscm (Associação Amigos de Santa Cristina) is based there.

It is located southeast in the city of Santo Tirso, near the bottom of Monte Cordova Hill. At the 2001 census, it had a population of 1,292. It covers 2.39 km² of area, most of which is residential although there are some textile industry facilities here, too. In 907, Count Hermenegildo González, governor of the Condado Portucalense, was born here.
