Lee Valley Athletics Centre

Lee Valley Leisure Complex is located at Edmonton, London, and is part of the Lee Valley Park. It was formerly known as the Picketts Lock Sports Centre. It now comprises an 18-hole golf course which borders the River Lee Navigation, camping site, indoor bowls club (housed in the remains of the now-demolished Picketts Lock Sports Centre), multiplex cinema and restaurants. A new athletics centre was formally opened on 16 January 2007. The complex is owned and managed by the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority (LVRPA).

Deephams Sewage Treatment Works is a sewage treatment facility close to Picketts Lock, Edmonton, England. The outflow discharges via Pymmes Brook into the River Lee Navigation at Tottenham Lock. The treatment works was upgraded in 2012/13.

Pickett's Lock (No 15) is a lock on the River Lee Navigation in the London Borough of Enfield, England and is located near Edmonton, London. It gives its name to the surrounding area of Picketts Lock. In common with other locks as far upstream as Ponder's End Lock it is large enough to take barges of up to 130 tons. However it has not been upgraded to power operation and so it must be manually operated. It has gate paddles but these do not have gate baffles to mitigate the rush of water into the lock.

Pickett's Lock or Picketts Lock is an area of Edmonton, in the London Borough of Enfield. It is bordered by River Lee Navigation to the east, Pickett's Lock Lane to the south, Meridian Way A1055 to the west and the Ponders End industrial area to the north. The area takes its name from Pickett's Lock, a lock on the nearby River Lee Navigation.

The Lee Navigation is a canalised river incorporating the River Lea (also called the River Lee along the sections that are navigable). It flows from Hertford Castle Weir to the River Thames at Bow Creek; its first lock is Hertford Lock and its last Bow Locks.

AIM North London Academy is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in the Edmonton area of the London Borough of Enfield, England. Originally known as Cuckoo Hall Secondary Modern school, it merged with the Houndsfield and Eldon secondary modern schools to become Mandeville Secondary Comprehensive School in 1967, becoming Salisbury School and then Turin Grove School. The school reopened in 2010 as Nightingale Academy; Nightingale was one of the first Mayor's academies to be established in London. The school became AIM North London Academy in 2019, and is sponsored by the AIM Academies Trust. AIM North London Academy offers GCSEs as programmes of study for pupils, while sixth form students can choose to study from a range of A Levels. In October 2018, the Principal Ann Palmer was absent from the academy whilst Interim Executive Principal Mr Remo Iafrate from nearby AET school Aylward, took over the day-to-day running of the school. In April 2019 it was announced that Catherine Hutley would take over as Interim Headteacher until the end of the academic year. From September 2019, the Headmaster was Paddy McGrath.

Oasis Academy Hadley is an all-through academy school located in the Ponders End area of the London Borough of Enfield, England run by Oasis Community Learning. It is the second Oasis academy in the London and has close links with Oasis Academy Enfield. It opened on 7 September 2009. It opened in the existing buildings of Albany School and the Primary Phase opened its reception class in September 2010. Mid January 2013, the new building in Ponders End was opened.

Ponders End railway station is on the West Anglia Main Line, serving the district of Ponders End in the London Borough of Enfield, north London. It is 9 miles 71 chains (15.9 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street and is located between Meridian Water and Brimsdown. Its three-letter station code is PON and it is in Travelcard zone 5. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Greater Anglia. It is near to Lee Valley Leisure Complex.

Wright's Flour Mill is located in Wharf Road, Ponders End, Enfield. It is Enfield's oldest working industrial building.

The William Girling Reservoir is located in the London Borough of Enfield and is part of the Lee Valley Reservoir Chain that supplies London with drinking water. It is named after William Girling OBE, a chairman of the Metropolitan Water Board (MWB). The reservoir and the nearby King George V Reservoir are known collectively as the Chingford Reservoirs. The storage reservoir, which is owned by Thames Water, is bordered by Chingford to the east and Ponders End and Edmonton to the west, and covers 334 acres (135 hectares) with a perimeter of 3.5 miles (5.6 km). There is no public access.

Ponders End Lock (No 14) is a paired lock on the River Lee Navigation in England and is located near Ponders End, London. It is the last lock upstream that is large enough to take barges of up to 130 tons.

St Alphege Church is a grade II listed church in Edmonton, London. It was designed by Edward Maufe in a modern Swedish Gothic style and opened in the 1950s.
