Liberty Reservoir

The Bennett-Kelly Farm is an historic home and farm complex located at Sykesville, Carroll County, Maryland, United States. The complex consists of a stone and frame house, a stone mounting block, a stone smokehouse, a frame bank barn, a frame wagon shed, a frame chicken house, a concrete block dairy or tool shed, and a stone spring house. The original mid-19th century stone section of the house is three bays wide and two stories high. The house features a one-bay Greek Revival pedimented portico with Doric columns. It is an example of a type of family farmstead that characterized rural agricultural Carroll County from the mid 19th century through the early 20th century.The Bennett-Kelly Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Shervettes Corner is an unincorporated community in Carroll County, Maryland, United States, lying between Eldersburg and Randallstown. It is surrounded on three sides by Liberty Reservoir, south of Maryland Route 26. It is located east of the Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery.

Branton Manor is a historic home located at Sykesville, Carroll County, Maryland, United States. It is two stories with a gable roof and a large stone interior chimney at the east end. The overall exterior appearance of the house is quite mixed, with each section having a different style and roofline. The oldest section dates to approximately 1766.Branton Manor was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

WCBM (680 AM) is a Baltimore, Maryland commercial radio station. It is owned by WCBM Maryland, Inc., and broadcasts a talk radio format, calling itself "Talk Radio 680 WCBM". Studios and offices are on York Road in Lutherville, off the Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695). By day, WCBM transmits with 50,000 watts, the maximum allowed for United States AM stations. To protect other stations on 680 AM at night, it reduces power to 20,000 watts. It uses a directional antenna at all times, with a six-tower array. The transmitter site is off Marriottsville Road in Randallstown.

Soldiers Delight Natural Environmental Area is a nature reserve near Owings Mills in western Baltimore County, Maryland, U.S. The site is designated both as a Maryland Wildland (1,526 acres) and as a Natural Environment Area (1,900 acres) and is part of the Maryland Wildlands Preservation System. The site's protected status is due to the presence of serpentine soil and over 39 rare, threatened, or endangered plant species along with rare insects, rocks and minerals.

St. Michael's Church, also known as St. Michael's Chapel and Hannah More Chapel, is a historic Episcopal Church located at Academy Lane and Reisterstown Road in Reisterstown, Baltimore County, Maryland. It is a small, Carpenter Gothic-style, board and batten frame structure, featuring a simple bell-gable. It was designed by New York architect John W. Priest (1825-1859), and constructed about 1853. It was named after Hannah More. It was deconsecrated on May 12, 1978.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.Still owned by the Diocese of Maryland, a renovation project costing $1.2 million began in January 2003. On September 8, 2004, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for its reopening. The project included the replacement of roof shingles, a restoration of the interior, which had been destroyed by rainwater, and the removal of chimney bricks.

The David Force Natural Resource Area is a 221-acre (89 ha) wildlife area in Ellicott City, Maryland. It is located between Route 70 and 40 adjacent to the Turf Valley development in Howard County, Maryland, and operated by the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks. The resource area was created to protect water quality, provide habitat for wildlife, and support recreational hiking and nature observation purposes. Part of the area has been identified for a future 36-acre David Force Park to be developed in the 2028 - 2032 time frame at an estimated cost of $6 million.The area is named after David W. Force (1909-1966), a founder of Force and Christhill construction and former Howard County judge who made national headlines for sentencing an African American to lashings in 1951, and later a county commissioner who ran on a slow growth platform in 1962 who was one of three that approved the development of Columbia for The Rouse Company.
