Fujioka Station (藤岡駅, Fujioka-eki) is a railway station in the city of Tochigi, Tochigi, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tōbu Railway. The station is numbered "TN-08".

Itakura Tōyōdai-mae Station (板倉東洋大前駅, Itakura Tōyōdai-mae-eki) is a passenger railway station in the town of Itakura, Gunma, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tōbu Railway. The station is numbered "TN-07".

Iwafune (岩舟町, Iwafune-machi) was a town located in Shimotsuga District, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. As of 2013, the town had an estimated population of 18,152 and a density of 390 persons per km². The total area was 46.74 km².On April 5, 2014, Iwafune was merged into the expanded city of Tochigi.

Sano Nihon University College (佐野日本大学短期大学, Sano Nihon daigaku tanki daigaku) is a private junior college in Sano, Tochigi, Japan. Originally established as a junior women's college in 1990, it became coeducational in 1996, and changed its name to Sano International Information Junior College. The college was renamed Sano College in 2002. In April 2017 it adopted the present name. Sano Nihon University College has 12 fields of study and is open to international students as of the 2016/17 school year. Currently there are students from China, Nepal, and Vietnam attending but the school is open to students worldwide. The college is also open for adults to take a class or two of their choice for personal study. Itakura (板倉町, Itakura-machi) is a town located in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 September 2020, the town had an estimated population of 14,323 in 5717 households and a population density of 340 persons per km2. The total area of the town is 41.86 square kilometres (16.16 sq mi). Itakura's animal mascot is the catfish. It is represented in a bronze statue at Raiden Shrine, as a mikoshi in Itakura's summer festival, and also is emblazoned on the town's manhole covers. Itakura is one of the few places in Japan where catfish dishes are a local delicacy.

Shizuwa Station (静和駅, Shizuwa-eki) is a railway station in the city of Tochigi, Tochigi, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tōbu Railway. The station is numbered "TN-09".

Mount Iwafune (岩船山, Iwafunesan, Iwafuneyama) is a mountain located in Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture (formerly Iwafune Town), in Northern Kanto, with an elevation of 172.7 meters. It is the southernmost peak of the Ashio Mountains. The origin of the characters used in the name—"boat" (舟) for the stone quarried here and the former town name, and "ship" (船) for the mountain name—is unclear. The surrounding area is designated as a nature conservation area (designated on July 19, 1977), where the name is written as "岩舟山" (Iwafuneyama). It has been a major sacred site, with Kōshō-ji Temple attracting the faith of people in the Eastern provinces. The mountain has a peculiar shape with steep cliffs, which has gradually changed due to quarrying of Iwafune stone since the Edo period. Since the late 1970s, the abandoned quarry site has been used for location shooting, including special effects scenes with explosions, taking advantage of its mystical landscape. During the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011, the western peak collapsed in a V-shape, and another part of the mountainside crumbled from a height of about 140 meters (no casualties or damage to houses). At the southeastern foot of the mountain is the site where Emperor Meiji once held an outdoor tea ceremony (nodate), and the surrounding area has been developed as Kabutoyama Park.

Ōhira (大平町, Ōhira-machi) was a town located in Shimotsuga District, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 28,368 and a density of 712.76 persons per km². The total area was 39.80 km². On March 29, 2010, Ōhira, along with the towns of Fujioka and Tsuga (all from Shimotsuga District), was merged into the expanded city of Tochigi.

Sano (佐野市, Sano-shi) is a city located in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 August 2020, the city had an estimated population of 117,669, in 52,066 households and a population density of 330 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 356.04 square kilometres (137.47 sq mi). The city is known for its Outlet Mall, Sano Yakuyoke Daishi Temple, and its local variety of ramen, Sano Ramen. More recently, Sano has gained international recognition for being the home of cricket in Japan.

Sano Station (佐野駅, Sano-eki) is a junction railway station in the city of Sano, Tochigi, Japan. It is jointly operated by JR East and the private railway operator Tōbu Railway. The station is numbered "TI-34" in the Tobu Railway system.

Little is known of Sano Castle (佐野城, Sano-jō). It is mostly connected to its nearby castle, Karasawa Castle, both of which were next to Sano, the corresponding castle town for the two castles during the Edo period. The Sano Clan had previously built Karasawayama Castle, which had been established since the 1400s. In 1602, there was a great fire in Edo castle, which could be seen from Karasawayama Castle. The Sano clan sent their condolences to the Emperor. Some historians say that when the Emperor realised that Karasawayama Castle looked down on Edo, he told the Sano clan that there was a law against this. In the same year of the fire, 1602, the Sano clan, rebuilt another new castle at a lower point on the hill - this castle was named Sano Castle. Sano Castle itself only existed for a short period of time, and was a less substantial castle than its predecessor. It was built in 1602. However, after the clan moved there from their old castle, the clan became involved in the political conflict of the Shogunate and were expelled, like many other non hereditary lords in Kantō region (e.g. the Satomi clan and Minagawa clans). As a result of this, their lands were seized and they were forced to abandon it in 1614. It was unoccupied after that, and fell into ruin.
