Ishibashi, Tochigi

Ishibashi Station (石橋駅, Ishibashi-eki) is a railway station in the city of Shimotsuke, Tochigi, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Jichi Medical University (自治医科大学, Jichi ika daigaku) is a private university in Shimotsuke, Tochigi, Japan, established in 1972. In 2008 the Gates Foundation awarded $100,000 to Hiroyuki Matsuoka, a medical researcher at the university, to do research on flying syringes.

The Omocha no Machi Bandai Museum is a museum devoted to Bandai characters located in Mibu, Shimotsuga District, Tochigi, Japan. It opened on July 19, 2003 as the Bandai Museum at Matsudo, Chiba. It was closed on August 31, 2006 and moved to Mibu, Tochigi on April 28, 2007, where it features exhibits on Ultraman, Gundam, Godzilla, Super Sentai, and a Gundam-themed cafe along with various shops attached to the museum.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 21,178 and a density of 675.53 persons per km2. The total area was 31.35 km2. On January 10, 2006, Minamikawachi, along with the towns of Ishibashi and Kokubunji (both from Shimotsuga District), was merged to create the new city of Shimotsuke.

Shimotsuke (下野市, Shimotsuke-shi) is a city located in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 August 2020, the city had an estimated population of 60,274 in 24,654 households, and a population density of 810 persons per km². The total area of the city is 74.59 square kilometres (28.80 sq mi).

Dokkyo Medical University (獨協医科大学, Dokkyō ika daigaku) is a private university in Mibu, Tochigi, Japan, established in 1973. Dokkyo University is located in the town of Mibu, in Tochigi Prefecture, about 1.5 hours north of Tokyo by train.
