Wilmington High School (Ohio)

The Main Building School, on Sugartree St. in Wilmington, Ohio, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It was deemed a "fine example" of High Victorian Italianate architecture. It was opened in 1869 and was in continuous use as a school until 1979. The building may have since been demolished.

It has ceased on air broadcasts after a snafu with the FCC and subsequent death of the principal owner of the radio station. WALH aired live local programming and classic hits as "Wilmington's Greatest Hits" from the 1960s, 70s and 80s since its debut which took place on the web from its online stream on Saturday, June 6, 2015 and on the air on June 8, 2015, at 12 noon local time.Its studios are located at 12 West Main St. in downtown Wilmington which now operates as an online station and is now branded by its website URL.

Wilmington College is a private college in Wilmington, Ohio. It was established by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in 1870 and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The college is still Quaker-affiliated and has seven core Quaker values. In fall 2018, the college set an enrollment record, bringing in 450 new students for the academic year, totaling 1,103 students on Wilmington's main campus, and 139 students at Wilmington's two Cincinnati branches at Blue Ash and Cincinnati State.
