St John the Baptist Parish Church, also known as Parokya ni San Juan Bautista, is a Roman Catholic church located in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines.

Taytay, officially the Municipality of Taytay (Tagalog: Bayan ng Taytay; IPA: [taɪ'taɪ]), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. It is also known as the Garments Capital of the Philippines. Most occupation of the residents are related to supplying different types of garments related things like blouses, pants, dresses and the garment itself at a very low cost. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 386,451 people.  It is the 2nd most populous municipality in the country, after Rodriguez, Rizal. Conurbanated with Metro Manila, it is bounded by Cainta on the north, Pasig and Taguig on the west, Antipolo in the east and Angono on the south. While economically, demographically and politically qualified, plans to convert it into a city was set aside, pending social and administrative reforms in the municipality.The National Competitiveness Council has named Taytay as the "2nd Most Competitive Municipality (1st & 2nd Class)", for year 2019 after topping the ranking last year.Taytay is one of the municipalities in the Philippines that has high financial capability with Php 775.3 million, making it the 2nd or 3rd Richest Municipality in the Philippines in 2016. The elevated high capacity monorail MRT Line 4 is expected to terminate at the Taytay Municipal Hall with an empty lot beside it reserved for the depot.

Siena College of Taytay, also referred to by its acronym SCT, is a private, non-profit Catholic basic and higher education institution run by the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines. It was named St. Catherine Academy at foundation in 1957 by the Dominican Sisters of Siena and it is one of six Dominican educational institutions in the Philippines. Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS) is a graduate-level theological institution located near Metro Manila in the Philippines. APNTS is a seminary in the Wesleyan theological tradition and affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene through its Division of World Mission. The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Light, popularly known as Cainta Church (Spanish: Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Luz), is a Roman Catholic parish church located along Andres Bonifacio Avenue in Barangay San Andres, Cainta, Rizal, in the Philippines. The church also operates a neighboring school, Cainta Catholic College. From its time of erection as a parish in 1760 until 1983, it belonged to the Archdiocese of Manila. It was placed under the newly created Diocese of Antipolo in 1983, which is now headed by Most Rev. Francisco M. De Leon. It belongs to the Vicariate of Our Lady of Light. On 6 December 2017, Pope Francis granted the papal bull of canonical coronation towards its enshrined Marian image and it was crowned on 1 December 2018. The venerated image is a destroyed Sicilian painting from 1727, recreated by Philippine national artist Fernando Amorsolo due to the burning of the original relic during the Filipino-American war in 1899. It is the first Marian image in Philippine history to be pontifically crowned as an artistic painting. On the same day as its canonical coronation, the parish church was consecrated and elevated into a Diocesan Shrine.

Cainta, officially the Municipality of Cainta (Filipino: Bayan ng Cainta, IPA: [kaʔɪntɐʔ]), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 376,933 people. It is one of the oldest municipalities in Luzon (founded on August 15, 1571) and has a land area of 4,299 hectares (10,620 acres). Cainta serves as the secondary gateway to the rest of Rizal province from Metro Manila. With the continuous expansion of Metro Manila, Cainta is now part of Manila's conurbation, which reaches Cardona in its easternmost part and is therefore one of the most urbanized towns. As the country's 2nd most populous municipality after Rodriguez, Rizal, efforts are underway to convert it into a city. Its total assets amounting to ₱3,988,392,142.17 (as per 2017 Commission on Audit summary) makes it the richest municipality in the country in terms of income. However, Cainta faces different challenges especially with its boundary disputes with Pasig (Greenpark Village, Karangalan Village, St. Joseph Subdivision, Villarica Subdivision, Riverside and Midtown Village), Taytay (Greenland and eastern part of Cainta) and Antipolo (Valley Golf and Country Club, Valley View and Palmera Heights), thus hindering cityhood efforts.

St. John Mary Vianney Academy is a private Catholic school located in a private subdivision in Mambugan, Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines. The school was formerly known as La Colina Learning Center. It was established in 1982 as a pre-school (Nursery, Kinder, Preparatory) and Elementary School (1st-6th Grade). In 1996 the name St. John Mary Vianney Academy was adopted from The Parish St. John Mary Vianney located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from the school along Marcos Hi-Way in Antipolo City.

Pasig Rainforest Park, also known as Pasig City Rainforest Adventure Experience (RAVE Rainforest Park) and Pasig Central Park, is a public park in Pasig, eastern Metro Manila, Philippines. It spans 8 hectares (20 acres), and is a mixed recreational and natural park with a mini-zoo. The rainforest park was opened to the public in 1977 with an initial area of 4.8 hectares (12 acres). It had an Olympic-sized swimming pool, jogging oval, children's playground, tennis courts and a fitness center. In 1996, the park was enlarged with the acquisition of an additional 2.1 hectares (5.2 acres). The park was relaunched as the Rainforest Adventure Experience (RAVE) in 2013 with the completion of the boating lagoon, zip line, obstacle course and a skatepark.

The Sumulong Highway, constructed in 1960, is the highway in the Philippines that connects Marikina with Antipolo and the municipality of Cainta in the province of Rizal. It was named after Don Juan Sumulong, a former President of the Democrata Party. Since 2014, with the implementation of the new route numbering system by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), it is a component of National Route 59 (N59) of the highway in the Philippine highway network from its intersection with Marcos Highway at Masinag Junction to Sen. L. Sumulong Memorial Circle, the road's endpoint at the city proper, both in Antipolo. Near the boundary of Antipolo with Marikina, the highway meets the Marcos Highway (Marikina-Infanta Highway) in the Masinag Junction. (Marikina-Infanta Highway was the highway that connects Metro Manila with the northern towns of Infanta and General Nakar in the province of Quezon). It is sometimes referred in media as the "killer highway" due to the number of accidents that have taken place on it, most especially the area from Sitio Maligaya to Mambugan Barangay Hall.
