The Sumulong Highway, constructed in 1960, is the highway in the Philippines that connects Marikina with Antipolo and the municipality of Cainta in the province of Rizal. It was named after Don Juan Sumulong, a former President of the Democrata Party. Since 2014, with the implementation of the new route numbering system by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), it is a component of National Route 59 (N59) of the highway in the Philippine highway network from its intersection with Marcos Highway at Masinag Junction to Sen. L. Sumulong Memorial Circle, the road's endpoint at the city proper, both in Antipolo. Near the boundary of Antipolo with Marikina, the highway meets the Marcos Highway (Marikina-Infanta Highway) in the Masinag Junction. (Marikina-Infanta Highway was the highway that connects Metro Manila with the northern towns of Infanta and General Nakar in the province of Quezon). It is sometimes referred in media as the "killer highway" due to the number of accidents that have taken place on it, most especially the area from Sitio Maligaya to Mambugan Barangay Hall.

Antipolo station is a railway station. It sits on Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2 located in Antipolo, Rizal. It opened on July 5, 2021 and is the line's easternmost station, located on the stretch of Marikina–Infanta Highway near the intersection of Sumulong Highway. It is the first Manila LRT System station outside Metro Manila to be operational. The station is the eastern terminus of the line and is the first and last station for trains headed to and from Recto station.

From 1987 to 2018, MMPC was the distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso commercial vehicles in the Philippines until Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation was established in September 2018. The company's slogan is "Drive your Ambition", which has been part of Mitsubishi Motors' global rebranding since 2018. The company was incorporated in 1987 as Philippine Automotive Manufacturing Corporation (PAMCOR) and was renamed Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) in 1996.

Karangalan Village is a residential area located at Barangay San Isidro, in Cainta, Rizal, Philippines. The village is home to the regional office of Department of Education for Calabarzon (Region IV-A).

Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS) is a graduate-level theological institution located near Metro Manila in the Philippines. APNTS is a seminary in the Wesleyan theological tradition and affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene through its Division of World Mission. Hinulugang Taktak Protected Landscape, also known as Hinulugan Taktak, is a protected area located in Rizal, Philippines. Initially assigned as a recreation area, the waterfall area has been designated as a national park by virtue of Republic Act No. 6964 in 1990. Ten years later, it became a protected landscape in accordance to Proclamation No. 412. It is being managed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Rizal Provincial Government. As of 2003 and 2004, Hinulugang Taktak is the second most popular national park in the Philippines in terms of number of visitors.

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina (simply known as PLMar) is the first city government-funded university in Marikina, Philippines. It was established by Ordinance No. 015 Series of 2003. The effort was spearheaded by Mayor Marides C. Fernando Enrollment in 2003 was 1,424 students and has successively increased; the 2012-2016 enrollment is 12,051. PLMar surpasses the national rate of graduates who pass the Professional Regulation Commission National Board Examinations for Nurses, Teachers and Criminologist.

Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall (or simply Sta. Lucia Mall) is a shopping mall owned by Sta. Lucia Realty & Development Inc. It is situated at the intersection of Marcos Highway, and Felix Avenue (formerly known as Imelda Avenue), located at Barangay San Isidro, Cainta, Rizal beside Robinsons Metro East. The mall opened in 1991, and it has a total gross floor area of 230,000 m2 (2,500,000 sq ft) as of 2014. It is one of the largest shopping malls located in Rizal.

Robinsons Metro East (formerly known as Robinsons Place Metro East) is a shopping mall owned by Robinsons Malls. Robinsons Metro East is situated along Marcos Highway, located at Barangay Dela Paz in Pasig, Philippines. The mall opened on August 31, 2001, is currently the 3rd largest mall in the Philippines owned by Robinsons Malls.

Marikina–Pasig station (also known as Marikina station) is a station on the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2. The station is one of many elevated stations that can be found on the line, located on the boundary of Marikina City and Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The station is located on the stretch of Marikina–Infanta Highway near the intersection of Gil Fernando Avenue–Felix Avenue and is named after the cities of Marikina and Pasig which the station straddles between. Marikina–Pasig station serves as the twelfth station for trains headed to Antipolo and the second station for trains headed to Recto. This is the line's last station in Metro Manila from Recto station before heading to the line's eastern terminus at Antipolo.
