Christ the King Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in the Wimbledon Park area of Wimbledon in the London Borough of Merton. It was founded in 1913, and built in 1926 by the Society of Jesus. The architect was Adrian Gilbert Scott.

Wimbledon power station supplied electricity to the Borough of Wimbledon and the surrounding area from 1899 to 1968. The power station was developed by the Wimbledon Corporation which operated it up to 1933. The London and Home Counties Joint Electricity Authority operated the station from 1933 until the nationalisation of the British electricity supply industry in 1948. It was redeveloped by the owners several times to meet the increased demand for electricity.

Wimbledon Park is a London Underground station in Wimbledon. The station is on the District line and is between Southfields and Wimbledon stations. The station is located on Arthur Road close to the junction with Melrose Avenue close to the eastern side of Wimbledon Park. It is about 200 metres (660 ft) west of Durnsford Road (A218) and is in Travelcard Zone 3.

Gap Road Cemetery or Wimbledon Cemetery is a cemetery located in Wimbledon, London. 20 acres in size, the cemetery was opened in 1876, and contains three chapels, including two disused historical chapels, one for Church of England services and another for Dissenters (Nonconformists).

The Leather Bottle is a pub at 538 Garratt Lane, Earlsfield, London SW17. It is a Grade II listed building, built in the early 18th century. The introduction to Samuel Foote's play The Mayor of Garratt mentions the pub, describing Earlsfield's mock Garrat Elections of the 18th century as having been founded by "a party of watermen, belonging to Wandsworth, dining at the Leather Bottle".

Garratt Lane is a long street (numbered to 1085) in the London Borough of Wandsworth, part of the A217 road. It connects Wandsworth High Street to Tooting Broadway and is approximately 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) long. It passes through Earlsfield and Summerstown, before their late 19th century development, fields of Wandsworth.

St Andrew's, Earlsfield, is an Anglican church at 571 Garratt Lane, Earlsfield, London.It was built in 1889–90, and the architect was Edward William Mountford. It is a Grade II listed building since 2000.

Wimbledon Stadium, also known as Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium, was a greyhound racing track located in Wimbledon in southwest London, England.It also hosted stock car and other small circuit motor racing events, and until 2005 hosted motorcycle speedway. The stadium hosted the English Greyhound Derby every year between 1985 and 2016. Facing declining attendances and with no renovations undertaken for many years, the stadium was put up for sale by the owners, the Greyhound Racing Association, and closed permanently in March 2017. The site was purchased by Galliard Homes Limited, in order to build 600 new apartments and a new football stadium, the new Plough Lane, for AFC Wimbledon. The stadium was demolished in 2018 to clear the site for the new development; it was one of London's last remaining greyhound stadium with only Crayford and Romford left and was the third to close since the turn of the century after Catford Stadium in 2003 and Walthamstow Stadium in 2008.

Plough Lane – named The Cherry Red Records Stadium for sponsorship reasons – is a football stadium in Wimbledon, south-west London, which has been the home of AFC Wimbledon since 3 November 2020. A groundshare with rugby league side London Broncos was approved in mid-2021.

Plough Lane was a football stadium in Wimbledon, south west London. For nearly eighty years it was the home ground of Wimbledon Football Club, from September 1912 until May 1991, when the club moved their first team home matches to Selhurst Park as part of a groundshare agreement with Crystal Palace. Both clubs' reserve teams then used Plough Lane as their home ground until 1998, when the site was sold to Safeway, who intended to redevelop the site as a supermarket. Whilst site redevelopment plans were negotiated, the stadium remained derelict for several years until it was finally demolished in 2002. When permission for a supermarket was ultimately refused by the local authority, Safeway sold the site and it was eventually developed as a private housing development known as Reynolds Gate, named after former Wimbledon F.C. striker Eddie Reynolds, which was completed in 2008. Plans to build a new stadium for AFC Wimbledon on the nearby site of the Wimbledon Greyhound track, situated approximately 200 yards (183 metres) from the original Plough Lane stadium, were approved by Merton Council in December 2015. Construction on the 'New Plough Lane' began in 2018, and it opened on 3 November 2020.

Earlsfield railway station is on the South West Main Line serving Earlsfield in the London Borough of Wandsworth, South London. The station is in Travelcard Zone 3, 5 miles 46 chains (9.0 km) from London Waterloo and situated between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon. It is operated by South Western Railway, as are all the trains serving it.

Southfields Academy (formerly Southfields Community College) is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status in Southfields (Wandsworth), south west London. It has about 1300 students.Southfields Academy has been rated by Ofsted as either Outstanding or Good since 2001. British Prime Minister Theresa May visited school in 2019 to promote her plan to improve mental health care. Southfields Academy provides the education for AFC Wimbledon’s academy players.Former Education Secretary and local MP, Justine Greening is a regular visitor and supporter of the school.
