Pierrefonds Community High School (often abbreviated as PCHS), is a non-denominational, English speaking educational facility located in the Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada with an enrollment capacity of approximately 1,200 students, in grades 7 through 11. It operates within the Lester B. Pearson School Board and has functioned as a secondary school since 1971. Having been originally named Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School, the slight name variation was added after the merge with Riverdale High School in 2019. The principal of the school is Lucia V. Coretti.

There are also significant populations who speak Arabic, Italian, Spanish and Chinese. This is an ethnically mixed riding, including Italian, East Indian and Chinese communities. The total immigrant population is almost 30%.

Cégep Gérald-Godin is a French-language public college located in Sainte-Geneviève, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is the first and only French-language public college on the West Island of Montreal. It is located on Gouin Boulevard overlooking the Rivière des Prairies. Its building, designed in 1932 by Lucien Parent, was formerly a novitiate of the Congregation of Holy Cross.It is named after poet and separatist politician Gérald Godin.

Jacques Bizard Bridge is a bridge that crosses the Rivière des Prairies and connects L'Île Bizard to Montreal Island. Except for a cable ferry that connects Île Bizard with Laval-sur-le-Lac, it is the only access to Île Bizard, which had a population of 13,861 at the 2001 census. It carries three lanes of Jacques Bizard Boulevard, including one reversible lane. As of 2008, it is being widened to accommodate a bicycle path. The ferry, which crosses the north branch of the Rivière des Prairies, operates only seasonally between April and November. The bridge was named after Jacques Bizard, who was seigneur of Île Bonaventure, which was later renamed after him as well. The current span was built in 1966 and replaced an old bridge that was built in 1893.

The Église Sainte-Geneviève (Church of St. Genevieve) is a parish church located in the former village of Sainte-Geneviève, Québec (now part of Montreal) on the north-west shore of the Island of Montreal overlooking the Rivière des Prairies. Its affiliation is Roman Catholic and it is administered under the Diocese of Montreal by La Paroisse Sainte-Geneviève de Pierrefonds, founded by Antoine Faucon in 1741. Construction of the church, headed by Louis-Marie Lefèvre, was completed in 1844 and was designed by architect Thomas Baillargé.

Fairview Pointe-Claire attracts 8 million visitors each year. 175 stores occupy about 1,000,000 square feet (92,900 m2) spread on two levels of shopping space. It is one of Cadillac Fairview's oldest shopping malls. The major tenants are Hudson's Bay, Winners, HomeSense, Sports Experts/Atmosphere, La Maison Simons and Best Buy.

Fairview forest is a forested area of land located in Pointe Claire on the island of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The area is approximately 50 acres in size and is mostly covered in trees. The property is just west of the Fairview shopping centre, with Highway 40 directly on its southern border. At one time, John Abbott College owned the property.The STM (Société de transport de Montréal) believes the area is a forest and has marked it as such on their map of the island.The current owner of the property is seeking to cut down the forest and make a new urban area. Local residents have formed a group in efforts to stop the destruction of the forest.An online petition has more than 27 thousand signatures in support of saving the forest. The forest can be seen in heat map of the island of Montreal as a relatively cool area.
