The equestrian statue of William III is a historic statue in the centre of Queen Square in Bristol, England. It is a Grade I listed building.The statue of William III by John Michael Rysbrack, cast in 1733 and erected in 1736 to signify Bristol's Whig support of the Crown and Parliament Recognition Act 1689. The original plan was to have a statue of George II.During World War II the statue was moved to Badminton and subsequently restored and returned to the square in 1948.The bronze statue is on a Portland ashlar pedestal with a moulded plinth and cornice. It depicts the king in Roman dress.

The King William Ale House is a historic public house situated on King Street in Bristol, England. It dates from 1670 and was originally part of a row of three houses. The three have been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building since 8 January 1959. It includes a mixture of 17th-century and 18th-century features, but currently serves as a public house owned and operated by Samuel Smith Old Brewery.

Thekla is a former cargo ship moored in the Mud Dock area of Bristol's Floating Harbour, England. The ship was built in Germany in 1958 and worked in the coastal trades. In 1982 the ship was bought by Ki Longfellow-Stanshall, the wife of Vivian Stanshall, refitted, and brought to Bristol in 1983 as the Old Profanity Showboat. It was used as a theatre to showcase music of every sort, including cabaret, comedy, plays, musicals, and poetry events. The ship also contained an art gallery. The living quarters were home for Vivian, Ki, their daughter, Silky Longfellow-Stanshall, and Ki's daughter, Sydney Longfellow, as well as a few key personnel. During the 1990s, under new management, it was run as a rent-a-nightclub. The ship has now been returned to its original working name of Thekla and is run as a night club and venue for various bands by Daybrook House Promotions.

King Street is a 17th-century street in the historic city centre of Bristol, England. The street lies just south of the old town wall and was laid out in 1650 to develop the Town Marsh, the area then lying between the south or Marsh Wall and the Avon. The north side was developed first and the south side in 1663, when the street was named after Charles II. The section of the city wall is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

It was built in 1738–40 and has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building.Until 1906 it housed the main collections of Bristol's public library, which was one of the first in England when it was founded in 1613 on the same site. Users of the library included Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Robert Southey and Humphry Davy. From 1779 the building also contained one of the country's first public displays of fossils.

Originally constructed in 1889 to the plans of William Venn Gough, as the Port of Bristol Authority Docks Office, it is in a richly decorated Classical style with a roof in the French Empire style.It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II listed building.The building Was built using terracotta made by Gibbs and Canning of Tamworth. This is recorded in the Bristol mercury of 6 May 1886 - "The front, which is faced with buff terracotta and red brick...internally...buff terracotta, panels of pink terracotta containing symbolical figures being introduced into the dados..and the terracotta by Gibbs and Canning of Tamworth."

The Sailors Refuge is an historic house situated at 27–29 Queen Square, Bristol, England. It dates from 1709–1710 and is one of the few remaining houses from the original construction of the square. It was one of the architecturally richer houses, and provides an example of what the more demanding segment of houseowners required.It is built in an early Georgian naive Palladian style. The classical orders on the facade, though they are conventionally ordered from bottom to top, in the sequence Doric, Ionic, Corinthian, are placed so naively that they have no architectural relationship to the pediments over the windows or the cornice. The lack of any visible support for the window pediments, in the form of columns or projecting architraves, is similarly naive, and not in accord with proper architectural usage.It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building.

It was built in 1652 to 1656, extended in the 19th century and restored 1961 by Donald Insall. The foundations of a bastion of the City Wall were revealed during restoration. It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building.The almshouse was one of the first buildings in King Street, a new development then outside the city wall and beside the "Back Street Gate".The building was damaged during the Bristol Blitz and now presents only a facade to the street. It no longer serves the homeless as it did in previous centuries. It is now student accommodation.
