The Fremantle Traffic Bridge carries Queen Victoria Street over the Swan River, linking the suburbs of North Fremantle and Fremantle in Perth, Western Australia.

Fremantle Railway Bridge (known also as the North Fremantle Bridge) is the railway bridge on the Fremantle railway line that crosses the Swan River between Fremantle and North Fremantle. It is the second structure with that name. The original bridge was of concern due to its structure, as well as its position limiting the eastern extent of the Fremantle Harbour.The current bridge is further up stream and closer to the Fremantle Traffic Bridge than the earlier lower structure, and was being planned in the 1950s.

North Fremantle is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Fremantle, a local government area of the state. Its postcode is 6159.North Fremantle is situated on a peninsula, with the Indian Ocean bounding the west side and the Swan River the east side. On the north side it is separated from the suburb of Mosman Park by McCabe Street. North Fremantle has one train station, located on Stirling Highway, which provides train services into Fremantle and Perth city. There are various bus stations in North Fremantle, providing access to outer Perth suburbs.

Mojo's Bar, also known colloquially as Mojos, is a live music venue in North Fremantle, Western Australia. It was formerly known as the Stoned Crow and the first performances there took place in the 1970s. It has been described as "a linchpin of Perth's live music scene", and is known as a venue where some notable musicians have performed before their careers launched.

The Army Museum of Western Australia is a museum located in an historic artillery barracks on Burt Street in Fremantle, Western Australia. The museum was established in 1977 and has three Victoria Crosses on display.

The Town of East Fremantle is a local government area in the southern suburbs of the Western Australian capital city of Perth, located immediately northeast of the port city of Fremantle and about 17 kilometres (11 mi) southwest of Perth's central business district. The Town covers an area of 3.1 square kilometres (1.2 sq mi), maintains 46 km of roads and had a population of over 7,000 as at the 2016 Census.

East Fremantle (nicknamed East Freo) is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) south-west of the central business district. The suburb is mainly residential, and is coterminous with the Town of East Fremantle local government area. Previously serving as an outer, rural area of Fremantle, most of the present-day suburb was originally developed in the late 1890s and early 1900s as a result of the Western Australian gold rushes. Further development occurred in the late 1940s and 1950s to provide dwellings for new immigrants. Two major arterial roads – Canning Highway and Stirling Highway – pass through the suburb, which is also bounded to the north by the Swan River.

John Curtin College of the Arts, originally John Curtin High School, is an independent, public co-educational, partially selective high school, located in East Street, Fremantle, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. The school provides a general and specialist education to students from the greater Fremantle area, and intake for gifted and talented arts and soccer programmes from across Western Australia. Currently, John Curtin College of the Arts has gifted and talented programmes in the following disciplines: visual arts, media arts (television and film studies), music, contemporary dance, ballet, drama (acting studies) and musical theatre. As of Semester 1, 2022 the school had 1,817 students.

The Fremantle Arts Centre is a multi-arts organisation based in a historic building complex on Ord Street in Fremantle, Western Australia. The heritage-listed building complex was built using convict labour between 1861 and 1868 and was used as a psychiatric hospital, initially called the Fremantle Lunatic Asylum, and later known as the Asylum for the Criminally Insane. Today it offers a program of exhibitions, residencies, art courses and live music. It is located opposite the Fremantle Leisure and Aquatic Centre, and is near John Curtin College of the Arts and Christian Brothers College.

The East Fremantle Football Club Hall of Fame was launched on 2 July 2012 when 52 inductees were celebrated during a dinner at the East Fremantle Football Club Social Hall. Despite being the most successful team in the West Australian Football League, the East Fremantle Football Club had never had a Hall of Fame, the closest being the 1997 Team of the Century, created to celebrate the club's 100th year.
