Geist Reservoir

Geist is an affluent area in northeastern Indianapolis, Indiana (in Lawrence Township) and southeastern Hamilton County in Fishers, Indiana. It is named for Geist Reservoir.

The revenue from the agreement will be split 80 percent to the city and 20 percent to the Fuel.

Oaklandon Historic District is a national historic district located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It encompasses 38 contributing buildings in the mid-19th century settlement of Oaklandon. The district developed between about 1908 and 1941, and includes representative examples of Classical Revival, Late Gothic Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Notable buildings include the Oaklandon Christian Church (1908), Oaklandon Universalist Church (1921), and Dr. Charles J. Kneer Residence (1923).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Indian Lake is a reservoir in the city of Lawrence in Marion County, Indiana, United States. It is approximately 11 miles (20 km) northeast of downtown Indianapolis. It was created in 1929 by damming Indian Creek, a tributary to Fall Creek. Prior to the creation of Geist Reservoir in 1943 and Eagle Creek Reservoir in 1967, Indian Lake was the largest body of water in Marion County.

It was built in 1859, and is a two-story, four bay Federal style brick dwelling with Greek Revival style design elements. It covers an area of 48 square miles (120 km2) and in 2010 had a student enrollment just under 16,000.It includes two high schools, two middle schools, eleven elementary schools, four kindergarten centers, and one alternative school for at-risk students of middle-school and high-school age. It also operates a Diploma Recovery Program for adults (over 18) and a Community Education Program.The district includes eight National Blue Ribbon Schools, which have achieve a 97% graduation rate and over 75% progression to post-secondary education.

Indian Creek is a stream in Marion County, Indiana, in the United States. It is a tributary of Fall Creek. Indian Creek was so named from the fact that Native Americans used the area as a camping ground.A 60-acre (24 ha) reservoir named Indian Lake was created by the construction of a dam on the creek in 1929.

Fishers is a city in Fall Creek and Delaware townships, Hamilton County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census the population was 76,794, and by 2019 the estimated population was 95,310. A suburb of Indianapolis, Fishers has grown rapidly in recent decades: about 350 people lived there in 1963, 2,000 in 1980, and only 7,500 as recently as 1990. After the passage of a referendum on its status in 2012, Fishers transitioned from a town to a city on January 1, 2015. The first mayor of Fishers, Scott Fadness, and with the city's first clerk and city council were sworn in on December 21, 2014.
