Nordre Aker (Northern Aker) is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway.

BI Norwegian Business School (Bokmål: Handelshøyskolen BI) is the largest business school in Norway and the second largest in all of Europe. BI has in total four campuses with the main one located in Oslo. The university has 845 employees consisting of an academic staff of 404 people and 441 administrative staff. In 2015, BI Norwegian Business School had 18,728 students. BI is the largest supplier of economic and administrative competence and skills in Norway with more than 200,000 graduates since 1983. BI Norwegian Business School is a private foundation and is accredited by NOKUT as a specialised university institution. BI organised its academic activities in nine separate research departments covering all of the disciplines that can be expected at a modern European business school.

Nydalen is a neighbourhood in the Nordre Aker borough in northern Oslo, Norway.

Riksteatret (English: National Traveling Theater) is a Norwegian touring theatre. It was established by law in 1948. Its first performance was in Kirkenes in 1949, with Sigurd Christiansen's play En reise i natten. The theatre plays on about 200 different stages throughout the country. Its first theatre director was Fritz von der Lippe, who held this position from 1949 to 1968. Ellen Horn has been theatre director from 2005.

Nydalen is a rapid transit station on the Ring Line of the Oslo Metro. It is located at Nydalen in the Nordre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. The station opened on 20 August 2003, as part of the first section of the Ring Line to Storo. The station is served by lines 4 and 5 of the metro, as well as several local bus services. Artistic effort was put into the construction of the station, and the escalators were built into the Tunnel of Light exhibition. Close by the station is the BI Norwegian Business School (BI) campus and several large working places.

Nydalen Upper Secondary School (Norwegian: Nydalen videregående skole) is an upper secondary school established on 22 August 2011 located at Nydalen in the borough of Nordre Aker in Oslo, Norway. It replaced Grefsen Upper Secondary School and Sandaker Upper Secondary School. The school building was built and is owned by the private company Avantor, and is leased by the municipality for 25 years, with an option for a further 15. The school was scheduled to open in 2011 and to have 900 pupils and 100 employees.

Storo Storsenter is a shopping centre at Storo in Oslo, Norway. In 2002, it had a turnover of 1,092 billion kr. It is now under full-scale renovation and expansion, and now has 120 stores, including local and international chains. It also has a number of restaurants, banks and hair dressers. Storo Storsenter is owned by Olav Thon Eiendomsselskap. It is located beside Ring 3 and Storo Station on the Oslo T-bane and Oslo Tramway.

Grefsen Church is a long church (Norwegian: langkirke) located in Grefsen, a neighborhood of Oslo, Norway. The church was consecrated by Bishop Eivind Berggrav on March 3, 1940 and it is the parish church of the Grefsen Parish. It is built of brick, has a frescoed ceiling, and can accommodate 600 people. It was designed by the architect Georg Greve. The building has elements of the Norwegian Romanesque style, but has rectangular window openings instead of Romanesque arches. It is sparsely decorated. The stained glass in the chancel was created by Oddmund Kristiansen. Grefsen Church has protected status as a church listed by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage. Magne Elvestrand served as organist at the church from 1940 to 1967.

Storo is a neighborhood in the boroughs of Sagene and Nordre Aker in Oslo, Norway. It is located east of Nydalen, south-west of Grefsen and north of Sandaker. In addition to block housing, it hosts the Storo Storsenter shopping center. There are also many car dealerships in the area. The Ring 3 trunk road runs through Storo, and the area is served by Storo station on the Oslo T-bane and Oslo Tramway.

Storo is a rapid transit station on the Ring Line of the Oslo Metro, and a tram station on the Grünerløkka–Torshov Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located at Storo in the Nordre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. The tram station opened on 28 November 1902, and the rapid transit station on 20 August 2003. Metro lines 4 and 5 run to the station. The tram station serves lines 11, 12 and 18. The station is within walking distance of Grefsen Station on the Gjøvik Line. The station also functions as a bus hub, being located along Ring 3. Storo is a mixed commercial and residential area, and a shopping center is located just north of the subway station.

Åsen is a neighborhood divided between the boroughs of Sagene and Nordre Aker in Oslo, Norway. The neighbourhood is named after the old farm Åsen (Norse Ósin, from originally *Ásvin). The first element is áss m 'mountain ridge' (here referring to Grefsenåsen), the last element is vin f 'meadow'. The name is often misunderstood as åsen, the finite form of ås (the modern Norwegian form of áss), and is then wrongly pronounced with accent 1 - but the correct pronunciation is with accent 2. Åsen farm was owned by the Catholic Church until the Reformation, when it came on private hands. It was split in three in 1810. When the Gjøvik Line was constructed to run through Åsen's farmlands, and it was parceled out to residencies. The municipality erected residential complexes there in the 1920s and 1930s, supplemented by blocks in the late 1940s.At Nordre Åsen there is a sports field, which is a home field of Skeid Fotball and Skeid Bandy.

Grefsen stadion is a football stadium in the Grefsen area of Oslo. Currently home of Kjelsås Fotball playing in the Norwegian Second Division. The ground has standing areas on three sides, and one seating area with 420 seats. The stadium's record attendance is 3,295 for a Norwegian Premier League qualification match in 1998 against Kongsvinger IL, although there exist reports of a Vålerenga - Skeid encounter in 1944 where around 5000 spectators were in attendance. The stadium is served by a nearby light rail station on the Kjelsås Line; the station is named Grefsen stadion.
