Herald Way Marsh (grid reference SP380769) is a 10.6 hectare (26.2 acre) biological site of Special Scientific Interest in Coventry in the West Midlands. The site was notified in 1988 under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. It is also a Local Nature Reserve.

Ernesford Grange Community Academy (formerly Ernesford Grange School) is a secondary comprehensive school with sixth form facilities in the Ernesford Grange area of Coventry, England. The school has a very mixed catchment area and, as such, is above the national average for proportion of students receiving free school meals and students with special educational needs. Despite the fact that most students enter the school with below average Key Stage 2 results, Key Stage 3 and 4 results are above that of similar schools. Value added scores show how well the school is doing. It is a major part of the Riverside partnership which links several schools in the local area into a consortium to offer a wider range of subjects at A Level. Ernesford Grange is a suburb of Coventry, West Midlands. It is in the southeast of the city and borders the Binley, Stoke Aldermoor and Willenhall areas. It is part of the Coventry South Constituency. The district was built in the 1960s and the 1970s. It is served by four primary schools, the Ernesford Grange Community Academy, and Corpus Christi church. There is also a leisure centre with an 18 metre long swimming pool. Many of the streets are named after miners who worked in the coal pits, which used to cover most of the area.

Binley is a suburb in the east of Coventry, England. Binley evolved from a small mining village on the outskirts of Coventry to a large residential area composing private residences and council-owned properties. It is famous for the Binley Mega Chippy, which is located within Binley.

Willenhall is a suburb of Coventry in the West Midlands of England. Willenhall is in the south-east of the city adjacent to the suburbs of Binley, Ernesford Grange and Whitley. It covers the area bounded by the Rugby to Coventry railway line, the River Sowe and the city's boundary with Warwickshire. For general election purposes it is part of the Coventry South Constituency and for local elections it forms part of the Binley and Willenhall ward on Coventry City Council. The population of this ward at the 2011 census was 16,991.Willenhall was originally a small village that was absorbed into the city as it expanded. During the Second World War the Chace National Service Hostel was built in the area to accommodate the influx of munitions workers to the City. After the war the estate became established with the building of a large number of council houses. The area today remains mainly residential though to the south-east there is 9 hectares of woodland called Willenhall Wood which has been designated a nature reserve.Willenhall is the location of the Chace Avenue police station that forms part of the Coventry Local Policing Team of the West Midlands Police and houses the Binley and Willenhall neighbourhood team.

The Sowe Viaduct is a railway bridge on the Birmingham Loop line crossing the River Sowe at the south-eastern edge of Coventry in central England. Built in 1838, it is a Grade II listed building.

The Ryton plant is a former car manufacturing plant in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, England. Developed by the Rootes Group as a shadow factory in 1939 to produce aircraft engines for World War II; post war it became the headquarters of the group. Taken over by Chrysler Europe in 1967 and then by PSA Group in 1978, it shut in December 2006, and was subsequently redeveloped by Trenport Investments Ltd, for industrial use in March 2007. The plant met its final demise in November 2007, when it was completely demolished.

Toll Bar End is an area of Coventry, England, that lies on the South East edge of the city. The focal point of the area is the Toll Bar Island, where the A45, A46 and B4110 (London Road) converge. It is a main transport route out of the city and provides access to Coventry Airport and Middlemarch Business Park. Another area of interest is Gary C King museum, that specialises in the Coventry motor industry; the demolished Peugeot Ryton plant lies close by along the A45.

Brandon Marsh is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and nature reserve in Warwickshire, England. It is situated adjacent to the River Avon, near the village of Brandon, a few miles east of Coventry. The reserve is also the headquarters of the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Formerly used for sand and gravel quarrying, the 92 hectares (230 acres) site is owned by French industrial company LaFarge Industries and is leased to the Trust.Today, Brandon Marsh is a mixture of flooded gravel pits, fen, scrubland, reedbeds and woodland, much of which is uncommon habitat for the local area. The site is particularly important for birdlife, with a wide range of breeding and wintering birds—237 different species had been recorded up to the end of 2018. The reserve also supports a variety of mammals and insects, over 500 species of plant, and more than 570 species of fungi. The nature reserve and Visitor Centre are open to the public seven days a week.

The Alan Higgs Centre, opened in September 2004, is a leisure centre situated in about 80 acres (320,000 m2) grounds near to the River Sowe, on Allard Way in the southeast of Coventry, England. It was designed by RHWL architects, and built by Galliford Try plc at a cost of about £8 million to their client and the current owner, the Alan Higgs Centre Trust. The funds were provided by the Alan Edward Higgs Charity. In February 2020, the centre received some serious investment from Coventry City Council and Sport England.£13.5m was spent renovating the gym, sauna, steam rooms, jacuzzi, building a new indoor 50m pool and relocating the indoor 3G pitch. The 50m pools floor can be raised to deck level and dropped to 2 metres while also being able to be split in half with an immersible boom. The renovated gym area boasts 100 fitness stations, functional training area and indoor group cycling room that overlooks the 50m pool.

Coventry Copsewood F.C. are a football club based in Coventry, West Midlands, England. In 2005, they changed their name from Coventry Marconi to their present name. Currently they are members of the Midland League Division One.
