Blue House (Hong Kong)

Hong Kong House of Stories (香港故事館), formerly Wan Chai Livelihood Place (灣仔民間生活館), is a museum of Hong Kong Culture and society. The museum is located in the Blue House in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The museum provides Kong stories with movies, concerts, and exhibitions.

Stone Nullah Lane is a one-way street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Named after the water channel that until 1959 ran down its middle, it stretches from Lung On Street to Queen's Road East. The street is noted for its historical landmarks, most notably the Blue House and Wan Chai Pak Tai Temple.

The Old Wanchai Market Building was constructed in 1937. It is located at 264 Queen's Road East, at the Wan Chai Road crossing, opposite Stone Nullah Lane in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. It is a Grade III Historic Building.Its architectural style is influenced by Streamline Moderne (also known as Streamlined Moderne or Art Moderne) architecture, a popular style of building of the 1930s. It is often erroneously referred to as a Bauhaus-style building.Wan Chai Market, the wet market housed in the old market building since 1937, has moved into the new market complex on the lower levels of "The Zenith", a newly built residential development located just opposite to the market building, in September 2008. The Wan Chai Market was initially a wet place where merchants would sell their belongings. It was also used as a garage for Bullock Carts and thus was called the 'Wet Garage' (Chinese: 濕車庫). It was named in 1917.

Sunlight Tower (formerly called MLC Tower or CEF Life Tower ) is a 40-storey skyscraper located at 248 Queen's Road East, in the Wan Chai district of Hong Kong. It stands 156 metres (512 ft) tall and has 40 floors. Designed by Andrew Lee King Fun & Associates, it was completed in 1998.The building is managed by Henderson Sunlight Asset Management, a subsidiary of Henderson Land Development Hong Kong, a company which also developed the International Finance center.The MLC in the name stands for Mutual Life & Citizens Assurance Company - an Australian life insurance company formed in 1908. The building was renamed CEF Life tower when, in 1998, six floors of the building were leased out to CEF Life (Canadian Eastern Life assurance, renamed CEF Lend Lease, now owned by Axa Hong Kong), a company partly owned by Lee Ka Shing's Cheung Kong holdings.

The Old Wan Chai Post Office is the oldest surviving post office building in Hong Kong. It is situated at No. 221 Queen's Road East, at the junction with Wan Chai Gap Road.

The Wan Chai Pak Tai Temple, also known as Yuk Hui Kung, is located on Lung On Street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. It was built by locals in 1863. The temple is dedicated to Pak Tai, a martial deity, and houses a 3 metres (9.8 ft) Ming Dynasty statue of Pak Tai built in 1603, as well as a number of antique bells cast in 1863. It is decorated with a large number of lotus lanterns.The Temple consists of the main building and two annexes. The main building is dedicated to the worship of Pak Tai. Connected to the left of the Yuk Hui Temple is a Hall of Lung Mo (龍母殿; 'Hall of Dragon Mother') and a Hall of God of Wealth (財神殿) and to its right a Hall of Three Treasures (三寶殿) and the keeper's quarters which are probably later additions.The temple is a declared monument of Hong Kong.

The Wu Chung House (Chinese: 胡忠大廈) is a 40-floor skyscraper located on 213 Queen's Road East, in the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong. It was completed in 1992.

Mount Parish is a hill in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, to the south of Queen's Road East, between Kennedy Road and Stubbs Road.

Spring Garden Lane is a street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, connecting Queen's Road East to its south, and Johnston Road to the north. It was one of the first focal areas developed by the British in Hong Kong during the 1840s.

Seamen's Hospital was originally opened by Dr Peter Young, a surgeon of the Honourable East India Company in 1843 during the First Opium War.

Hopewell Centre or QRE Plaza is a 25-storey building located at No. 202 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, developed by Hopewell Holdings. The plaza was completed in 2007 and contains a shopping centre, restaurants and health clinics. QRE Plaza measures nearly 89 metres (292 ft) in height, and has a Gross floor area (GFA) of about 77,000 square feet (7,200 m2).

Ruttonjee Hospital is a hospital in Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. It is affiliated with the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Hong Kong, and provides clinical attachment opportunities for the university's medical students.
