Worcester Agricultural Fairgrounds

Camp Lincoln was an American Civil War camp that existed in 1861 in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was located on the Agricultural Fairgrounds, around the Elm Park neighborhood. It was named after Levi Lincoln Jr., the 13th Governor of Massachusetts and first Mayor of Worcester. On June 3, 1862, the camp was renamed Camp Wool, in honor of John E. Wool, the oldest general in the regular army. Units trained here included the 21st, 25th, 34th, 36th, 49th, 51st, and 57th regiments of Massachusetts infantry. Camp Scott, named for Major General Winfield Scott, also existed in Worcester for about 6 weeks in June–August 1861 as a training camp for the 15th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment.

Becker College was a private college in Worcester and Leicester, Massachusetts. Becker College traced its history from the union of two Massachusetts educational institutions—one founded in 1784 and the other in 1887. The college closed at the end of the 2020–21 academic year.The college offered more than 40 undergraduate degree programs including nursing programs, a veterinary science program, and video game design and development programs. The college's 2016–17 enrollment was 1,892. Becker College has more than 21,000 alumni.

The Harris-Merrick House is an historic house at located 41 Fruit Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built sometime between 1832 and 1844, it is a good example of Greek Revival architecture, and a rare surviving element of the early residential development west of downtown Worcester. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 5, 1980.

The Lincoln Estate–Elm Park Historic District is an expansive residential area in northwestern Worcester, Massachusetts. It is centered on Cedar and William Streets, and includes properties on adjacent streets. The area was developed beginning in the late 1830s by former Governor of Massachusetts Levi Lincoln, Jr., a Worcester native who had inherited land in the area. The district was divided and developed by Lincoln until his death, and then by his heirs, and became a popular location for homes of Worcester's wealthy and elite, many of which were designed by architects.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The William Trowbridge Forbes House was a historic house at 23 Trowbridge Road in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built in 1898 to a design by Barker & Nourse, it was one of the city's finest examples of Tudor Revival architecture, and was home to Esther Forbes, author of Johnny Tremain. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The house was demolished in November 2003.

The Francis Dewey House is a historic house at 71 Elm Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built in 1912, it is locally distinctive for its architecturally eclectic design by the Boston firm of Little & Browne. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Its owner, Francis H. Dewey, was a prominent lawyer and businessman. He was the fourth generation of his family in the legal profession, and served as a judge and railroad company executive.

Alumni Stadium is a football and all-purpose stadium located on the campus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. It is the home field of the WPI Engineers football team of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC). The present seating capacity of the stadium is 2,000. Opened 108 years ago in 1914, it was named Alumni Stadium in honor of all the alumni who funded its construction.

The Charles Allen House is an historic house at 65 Elm Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built in 1870, it is notable as an unusual and well-preserved Second Empire house, and for its association with Massachusetts lawyer, politician, and jurist Charles Allen. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It now houses professional offices.

The Merrill Double House is an historic two family house at 18-20 West Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story Victorian Gothic Revival brick building was built c. 1879, apparently by the heirs of a local shopowner, Enoch Merrill, whose house had previously stood on the lot. The two units are symmetrically laid out on either side of a common party wall. The center of the main facade includes a porch that shelters the paired entrances, and each side facade includes a pavilion that rises a full three stories with a steeply pitched roof.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Elm Street Historic District encompasses a collection of high-style Queen Anne Victorian three-decker houses in Worcester, Massachusetts. Normally a building style intended for occupation by the working classes of the city, these stylish buildings were built 1904–06 facing Elm Park on the fashionable west side, and attracted a higher class of occupant. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The Isaac Davis House is an historic house at 1 Oak Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was built in 1870-72 for Isaac Davis (1799-1883), a prominent local lawyer and banker, and is a fine example of Italianate architecture in brick. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is now home to the private Worcester Club.

The John Hastings Cottage is an historic house at 31 William Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built about 1880, it is a distinctive example of Victorian Gothic architecture. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, where it is misspelled as "Hastins".
