Lake City Way is an elevated station on the Millennium Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system, located at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Lake City Way in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. It opened in November 2003, after the initial 2002 opening of the Millennium Line. The station serves a nearby business park and the television studios for CHAN-DT (Global Television Network) and Global News: BC 1, a terrestrial and cable television news channel, respectively.

Burnaby Lake is a lake located in Burnaby, British Columbia and is the focal geographic feature and namesake of Burnaby Lake Regional Park. The lake occupies 3.11 square kilometres (770 acres) of land, and is home to a large variety of wildlife. At least 70 species of birds make the lake and surrounding areas their home, and about 214 species of birds visit the lake throughout the year. The park has been managed by the Metro Vancouver Parks Department since 1977.

Montecito, for administrative and planning purposes also known as "Sperling-Broadway", is a neighbourhood in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Montecito is located to the southwest of Burnaby Mountain, between Kensington Avenue to the west and Greystone Drive and Arden Avenue to the east. Halifax Street and the Lougheed Highway form its northern and southern boundaries respectively. It used to be part of a larger Lochdale neighbourhood. The area is served by several bus routes such as #134, #144 and #136. Sperling – Burnaby Lake Station is directly to the south. There are two elementary schools in this area - Sperling and Montecito. Burnaby North Secondary School serves this and neighbouring areas. Two major attractions are Burnaby Mountain Golf Course and the adjacent Squint Lake. There is a small Montecito Park with some tennis courts.

Still Creek is a long stream flowing across Central Burnaby, British Columbia and into Burnaby Lake (which outflows into the Brunette River). Still Creek's path lies mainly through the industrial area which contributes to its high level of pollution, although through dedicated work of local volunteers the creek is slowly recovering.In 2006, the City of Burnaby approved a plan to reduce the amount of flooding in the Still Creek watershed (the low-lying area of Gilmore Avenue is heavily flooded every year) while improving fish and wildlife habitat.There is considerable vegetation along the creek banks that serves as a habitat for great blue heron, red-tailed hawk, belted kingfisher, and even an occasional pheasant, as well as aquatic songbirds such as red-winged blackbird. Beavers have always maintained their presence while river otters are more recent inhabitants. Coastal cutthroat trout are gradually returning. In November 2012, for the first time in almost 80 years, numerous full-sized salmon have been observed returning to spawn in many parts of Still Creek.

Robert Burnaby Park Disc Golf Course is a 10-hole disc golf course located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. The course was designed by Jim Brown in 1999. It is one of only a handful of disc golf courses in the Vancouver area.

Robert Burnaby Park is a 48 hectare public park in East Burnaby, just south of Burnaby Lake, located off Edmonds and 4th Street in British Columbia, Canada. It is open all year around from dawn to dusk. It has an extensive trail system, as well as tennis courts and a swimming pool in the cleared upper slope area. The north end of the park contains the Robert Burnaby Park Disc Golf Course, one of only a handful in Metro Vancouver. It is a favourite picnic spot for many residents of Burnaby and New Westminster. Dogs are welcome in the park as long as they are on leash and are kept out of areas marked ecologically sensitive. There is also an off-leash zone for dogs in the northern part of the park. Propane barbeques as well as charcoal and open fire barbeques are allowed in the park. Hot ash can be disposed of in the ash pits within the park.Ramsay Creek winds its way through the park, similar to many streams originating on the southern sloping hillside of Burnaby Lake and flowing into it. The park is named for the colonial businessman Robert Burnaby, the founding father of Burnaby. It was created as a public works project during the Great Depression.

Production Way–University is an elevated station on the Expo and Millennium Lines of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Production Way in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Initially a Millennium Line station, a reorganization of SkyTrain service patterns in 2016 made Production Way–University a terminus for a branch of the Expo Line.

Sperling–Burnaby Lake is an elevated station on the Millennium Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located on the southeast corner of the intersection at Sperling Avenue and Lougheed Highway in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. The Burnaby Lake Regional Park is located nearby, from which the name of the station is partially derived.

Bill Copeland Sports Centre is a 2,000-seat, multi-purpose arena in Burnaby, British Columbia. The arena is primarily used for ice hockey and lacrosse.Bill Copeland Sports Centre was the host venue for the 2019 World Ringette Championships and the 2013 Esso Cup. It is also the home arena for the Burnaby Lakers of the Western Lacrosse Association and home arena of the Vancouver North West Hawks of the BC Hockey Major Midget League.

The C. W. Parker Carousel is a carousel built in 1912 currently operating in the Burnaby Village Museum at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby, British Columbia. The carousel was built by the C. W. Parker Company and is also known as the Parker #119 and the Burnaby Centennial Parker Carousel. The carousel was the 119th such machine built by the C. W. Parker Company, earning it its "Parker #119" nickname. The carousel contains 41 horses and operates at a pavilion known as the Don Wrigley Pavilion located at one of the museum's two entrances, earning the entrance the name "Carousel Entrance".

Metrotown station in downtown Metrotown is the busiest station on weekends and the second-busiest on weekdays in regional Vancouver's urban transit system as of 2021.
