Ämari Air Base

Ämari is a small borough (Estonian: alevik) in Lääne-Harju Parish, Harju County, northern Estonia. As of the 2011 census, the settlement's population was 542, of which the Estonians were 190 (35.1%).

Murru Prison (Estonian: Murru vangla) was a prison located in Rummu, Harju County, in Northern Estonia. The prison was established in 1938. Until the 1970s, at the prison there operated stone industry. Industry's workers were mainly prisoners. In 1961, part of Murru prison was changed to an autonomous prison called Rummu Prison. Rummu Prison existed until 2000. 2011 Harku Prison was merged to Murru Prison (Harku and Murru Prison). 2016 Harku and Murru Prison was merged to Tallinn Prison. Prisoners were transported to Tallinn, Tartu and Viru Prison.

The Rummu quarry is a submerged limestone quarry located in Rummu, Vasalemma Parish, Estonia, Europe. Much of the natural area of the quarry is under a lake formed by groundwater, and is situated next to a spoil tip. The quarry is close to two former prisons, the nearest being the former Rummu prison.

Klooga training area is one of the six military training fields used by the Estonian Defence Forces. It is located in lääne-Harju Parish, Harju County. Most of its territory of 990 ha (2,400 acres) is within the borders of Klooga small borough while small portions of Põllküla and Maeru village territories are also included.

Lääne-Harju Parish (Estonian: Lääne-Harju vald) is a rural municipality in northern Estonia. It is a part of Harju County. The municipality has a population of 12,865 (as of 1 January 2019) and covers an area of 645.71 km². The population density is 19.9238/km2 (51.6024/sq mi). The parish was formed as a result of the administrative reform in 2017 when four municipalities – Keila Parish, Padise Parish, Vasalemma Parish and the town of Paldiski – were merged to become Lääne-Harju Parish. The current mayor (vallavanem) is Jaanus Saat (since the formation in 2017).

Klooga is a small borough (Estonian: alevik) in Lääne-Harju Parish in Harju County in northern Estonia. At the 2011 Census, the settlement's population was 1,203, of which the Estonians were 642 (53.4%).During the German occupation in World War II, Klooga concentration camp, a Nazi labor camp, was situated there as a satellite camp of Vaivara concentration camp. On 19 September 1944, about 2,000 inmates of the Klooga camp were executed and the corpses burned on pyres. A large area of the settlement is covered by Estonian Defence Forces' military training field Klooga training area. Klooga has rail stations Klooga and Klooga-Aedlinn on the Elron western route.
