Shepherd's Bush is a district of West London, England, within the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham 4.9 miles (7.9 km) west of Charing Cross, and identified as a major metropolitan centre in the London Plan. Although primarily residential in character, its focus is the shopping area of Shepherd's Bush Green, with the Westfield London shopping centre a short distance to the north. The main thoroughfares are Uxbridge Road, Goldhawk Road and Askew Road, all with small and mostly independent shops, pubs and restaurants. The Loftus Road football stadium in Shepherd's Bush is home to Queens Park Rangers. In 2011, the population of the area was 39,724. The district is bounded by Hammersmith to the south, Holland Park and Notting Hill to the east, Harlesden and Kensal Green to the north and by Acton and Chiswick to the west. White City forms the northern part of Shepherd's Bush. Shepherd's Bush comprises the Shepherd's Bush Green, Askew, College Park & Old Oak, and Wormholt and White City wards of the borough.

The Town House (also known as Townhouse Studios) was a recording studio located at 150 Goldhawk Road, Shepherd's Bush in London, built in 1978 under the direction of Richard Branson for Virgin Records. The studios changed ownership and eventually ceased operation in 2008, with luxury apartments now in its place. Artists that recorded at The Town House included Elton John, Queen, Phil Collins, Philip Bailey, The Jam, Asia, Bryan Ferry, Coldplay, Muse, Duran Duran, Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue, Oasis, XTC, Robbie Williams, Peter Gabriel, and Joan Armatrading. Studio Two's "Stone Room" was an especially popular place to record drum sounds during the 1980s, directly as a result of producer Hugh Padgham's treatment of the drums on Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight".

Stamford House was a Remand and Assessment centre for youth in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It was demolished and replaced by Hammersmith Academy, a secondary school.

Hammersmith Academy is a non-denominational, all-ability, co-educational secondary academy for 11- to 18-year-olds specialising in creative and digital media and information technology, located in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, West London, England.Opened in September 2011, the Academy is jointly sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Mercers (the oldest livery company in the City of London) and the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (the 100th Livery Company).The academy is based in a four-storey building which has facilities such as a Theatre, Sports Hall, Library, Fitness Suite and Digital Editing & IT suites.

Cathnor Park is a public park in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, located to the west of Shepherd's Bush Green and north of the Goldhawk Road, and was first opened in 1973.

Greenside Primary School is a coeducational primary school in Westville Road in Hammersmith, London, England.

The Church of St Stephen and St Thomas is a Church of England parish church in Shepherd's Bush, London. It was built circa 1849–50, designed by architect Anthony Salvin in the Gothic Revival style and is now Grade II listed. The church is located on the South side of Uxbridge Road on the corner of Coverdale Road, to the west of Shepherd's Bush tube station. In the 1950s St Stephen's welcomed many members of the so-called "Windrush Generation" from the West Indies, and in 1962 the Barbadian-born Reverend Wilfred Wood became curate to St Stephen's, later becoming the Church of England's first black bishop. In 1966 the vicar John Asbridge, frustrated by the chronic shortage of local housing, set up the Shepherds Bush Housing Association. Today St Stephen's ministers to a diverse congregation, and serves a hot meal to up to 100 homeless people every Monday. The church is on Historic England's Heritage at Risk Register and an appeal has been launched to raise funds to repair the roof.

St Stephen's School is a Church of England primary school for girls and boys located on the Uxbridge Road in Shepherd's Bush, in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, England. It is affiliated with St Stephen's Church, Shepherd's Bush, in the Diocese of London, and was built at the same time, circa 1849-50. As of 2011 St Stephen's was rated "outstanding" by Ofsted. In 2017 it was ranked equal fifth in the Sunday Times list of the top 500 State Primary Schools in the UK and also featured in The Tatler's list of Best State Primary Schools.

Lime Grove Baths was a public bath and wash house in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham located on Lime Grove, Shepherd's Bush. The baths first opened in 1907. In the 1980s, the baths closed down. The pool hall and baths were demolished and the entrance block was converted into flats.

The Grove was an authorised underground railway station planned by the Central London Railway (CLR) but never built. It was to be located at the junction of Hammersmith Grove and Goldhawk Road in Shepherd's Bush, in west London.

The Queen Adelaide was a pub at 412 Uxbridge Road, Shepherd's Bush, London W12. It is a Greene King property. It is a Grade II listed building, built in about 1900.

Loftus Road, known as the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium since 2019, is an all-seater football stadium in White City, London, England, which is home to Queens Park Rangers. In 1981, it became the first stadium in British professional football to have an artificial pitch of Omniturf installed. This remained in use until 1988, after which a natural grass pitch was reintroduced. Rugby union team London Wasps shared the ground with QPR between 1996 and 2002 and Premier League football club Fulham shared it from 2002 to 2004 while Craven Cottage was closed for reconstruction. AFC Wimbledon started the 2020–2021 season sharing the ground while they waited for their new stadium in Merton to be finished. Other users of the stadium have included the Jamaican and Australian national football teams. In 1985, Barry McGuigan defeated Eusebio Pedroza for the World Boxing Association featherweight championship at the stadium. On 7 June 2019, the club gifted the naming rights to the stadium to The Kiyan Prince Foundation, a charity set up in honour of former QPR youth player Kiyan Prince, resulting in the stadium becoming known as the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
