Paterson P-TECH High School is a four-year public high school in Paterson in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operated as part of the Paterson Public Schools. It is one of a number of academy programs serving students in ninth through twelfth grades offered by the school district. The program focuses on earth science and space science as part of a partnership with Passaic County Community College and grants from NASA. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 202 students and 17.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.9:1. There were 93 students (46.0% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and none listed as eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Lake View is a former railroad station for the Erie Railroad in the community of Paterson, New Jersey. The station was located at the intersection of Railway Avenue and Crooks Avenue in the Lakeview district of Paterson, just north of the Clifton town line. The station consisted of two platforms, with a small shelter-sized depot on the westbound tracks and no shelter whatsoever on the eastbound side heading towards Pavonia Terminal. The station was first opened in 1883 in the Lakeview district, and remained in use for nearly eight decades. In 1952 and 1953, as a deal made for Passaic, New Jersey, stations at Clifton and Main Street-Passaic were rebuilt. However, Lake View was not, and when the Passaic Plan was enacted on April 2, 1963, the last passenger trains served Lake View served the old 1883 depot. The depot was razed in the autumn of 1967.

Clifton was a former train station for the Erie Railroad and Erie-Lackawanna Railroad in Clifton, Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. Located at the intersection of Getty Avenue and Clifton Avenue (County Route 611), the station served as part of the Main Line. The station consisted of tracks on an elevated line above Getty Avenue (since removed) with the 1952-built station depot on the side. After the closure of Harrison Street station, the station to the southeast was Passaic and the next station to the northwest was the Lake View station in nearby Paterson.

Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology is a comprehensive public charter elementary school / high school that serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grades located in Paterson, in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school operates under the terms of a charter granted by the New Jersey Department of Education granted in 2003, with authority to open in September 2004 with up to 178 students in grades six through nine, eventually expanding by the end of its initial charter in 2007 to nearly 500 students in grades 6 to 12. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 2014.As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,160 students and 81.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.3:1. There were 801 students (69.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 132 (11.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

People's Park is a section of Paterson, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, in the Eastside neighborhood. It is a mixed-use area with a diverse population. It is roughly bounded by Interstate 80 to the south, Madison Avenue to the west and Market Street to the north. It is a mostly residential neighborhood located north of 23rd Avenue and South of Market Street. In the late 1940s, Paterson State Teachers College was located in the upper two floors of Public School #24 located at the intersection of East 22nd Street and 19th Ave. Hugh Robinson attended PS24 during this period. The section of Twenty-First Avenue in this area was once a predominantly Italian-American neighborhood, but today it has a large Hispanic population and is referred to as La Ventiuno by Paterson's Spanish-speaking community. It is an active and vibrant retail strip featuring a variety of shops and services catering to a diverse clientele. Although there is still a significant Italian presence left in the neighborhood, it also has a large first-generation Latin American population, particularly Colombian.

St. Joseph's University Medical Center is a member of St. Joseph's Health. Located in Paterson, New Jersey, St. Joseph's University Medical Center, which includes St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, is a major academic medical center and state designated trauma center that cares for most complex and routine cases. There is also a second acute care hospital located in Wayne, New Jersey on Hamburg Turnpike under the St. Joseph's Health umbrella. The hospital was founded in 1867 and is sponsored by its founders, the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth.St. Joseph's University Medical Center is part of St. Joseph's Health, which encompasses St. Joseph's University Medical Center, St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, St. Joseph's Wayne Medical Center, St. Joseph's Healthcare and Rehab Center, and Visiting Health Services of NJ.

Cedar Lawn Cemetery is a rural cemetery in Paterson, New Jersey, and is also considered one of the finest Victorian cemeteries in the USA. Cedar Lawn Cemetery officially opened in September 1867, and recorded its first burial on September 27, 1867. Cedar Lawn is located on a multi-acre plot bordered by Lakeview Avenue (CR 624), Crooks Avenue, I-80, and NJ-20; the plot is also home to the adjacent Calvary Cemetery, a Roman Catholic burial ground. Over 85,000 people are interned at Cedar Lawn. During the Revolutionary War, the cemetery was farmland, owned by Annatje Von Riper, her son Henry Doremus, and Hessel Peterse. The British army plundered the three households on its march through New Jersey in November 1776.

Vreeland Avenue was railroad station in Paterson, New Jersey served by the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railroad (NYS&W). until 1966. Service by the New Jersey Midland, a predecessor to the NYS&W, had begun in 1873. The station house dates to 1949. Other extant station buildings from the New Jersey Midland/NYSW can be found at Wortendyke, Butler, and Newfoundland, among other places.The location in the People's Park neighborhood is potential station of New Jersey Transit Rail Operations proposed Passaic–Bergen–Hudson Transit Project.

Weasel Brook is a tributary of the Passaic River in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. Weasel Brook flows west to east through Clifton, particularly its namesake Weasel Brook Park, originally designed by famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead (1822-1903).

Reinhardt Mills, later Boris Kroll Mills, is a historic silk mill complex located in Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. Part of the complex has been redeveloped as the Paterson Commons apartments with future plans for additional redevelopment. The Philip's Academy Charter School opened a campus on the site in 2016. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 9, 2003.
