Reinhardt Mills, later Boris Kroll Mills, is a historic silk mill complex located in Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. Part of the complex has been redeveloped as the Paterson Commons apartments with future plans for additional redevelopment. The Philip's Academy Charter School opened a campus on the site in 2016. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 9, 2003.

Lambert Castle, originally called Belle Vista, is located within the Garret Mountain Reservation in Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey. The building was built in 1892 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 3, 1976, for its significance in art, architecture, and industry.

Garret Mountain Reservation (also spelled Garrett) is a 568-acre (230 ha) park located on First Watchung Mountain (Garret Mountain) in Paterson and Woodland Park (formerly West Paterson) in southern Passaic County, New Jersey. In 1967, it was designated a National Natural Landmark as part of the Great Falls of Paterson-Garret Mountain listing. The park extends into Clifton. Garret Mountain is Passaic County's major recreational area, providing the visitors with grass fields, several miles of walking/running trails, basketball courts, picnic areas, Barbour's Pond is state stocked with fish for anglers, as well as an Equestrian Center with horseback riding lessons. The Passaic County Parks Department operates the park while the Passaic County Sheriff is responsible for law enforcement in the reservation. For the past several decades, the reservation has been the site of hundreds of high school and college cross country meets in the fall, including the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) High School State Sectional Championships at the end of every October.

Paterson is a New Jersey Transit commuter railway station located on an elevated viaduct above Market Street in downtown Paterson, New Jersey. The railway through the station is double tracked, for north and south traffic on the NJT Main Line.

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is a historic Catholic cathedral and parish church located in Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson. The cathedral was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Dublin is a former Irish-American neighborhood in Paterson, New Jersey that makes up Little Lima and Little Italy today. Dublin was Paterson's first distinct neighborhood that grew up around the mills along the east bank of the Passaic River in Downtown Paterson. Alexander Hamilton established the Society for the Establishment of Useful Manufactures (S.U.M.), which helped to harness the power of Great Falls in 1791. In the early 19th century there were several mills and machine shops along the Passaic, downriver from the falls. A grid of streets were laid out by Pierre L'Enfant for the housing of millworkers in the area. The area then known as Dublin was bound by the Morris Canal, Garret Mountain, and Main Street with a populated area along Market Street. In the early 20th century a growing Italian workforce in the area created the Little Italy neighborhood around Cianci Street. Some of the old mill buildings of the area have been converted into housing and retail in addition to the Paterson Museum.

The Paterson Armory, an armory in Paterson, New Jersey, was a facility of the New Jersey National Guard and an arena. The building at 461-473 Market Street was long disused and in a state of disrepair when on November 10, 2015, a fire damaged it heavily. As of November 16, 2015, the armory was in the process of being demolished. Certain decorative features, such as the keystone in the arch at the entrance, may be chiseled out and given to the Paterson MuseumIn January 2017, in the absence of proposals, the city relaxed regulations regarding the building site. to encourage re-use and redevelopment for commercial and residential uses. In July 2018, the city announced the potential sale of the armory for new construction including remaining historical elements of the building.

The Diocese of Paterson (Latin: Dioecesis Patersonensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory, or diocese, of the Catholic Church in northern New Jersey. It is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Newark. The patrons of the diocese are Saint Patrick and John the Baptist. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology is a comprehensive public charter elementary school / high school that serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grades located in Paterson, in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school operates under the terms of a charter granted by the New Jersey Department of Education granted in 2003, with authority to open in September 2004 with up to 178 students in grades six through nine, eventually expanding by the end of its initial charter in 2007 to nearly 500 students in grades 6 to 12. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 2014.As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,160 students and 81.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.3:1. There were 801 students (69.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 132 (11.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

People's Park is a section of Paterson, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, in the Eastside neighborhood. It is a mixed-use area with a diverse population. It is roughly bounded by Interstate 80 to the south, Madison Avenue to the west and Market Street to the north. It is a mostly residential neighborhood located north of 23rd Avenue and South of Market Street. In the late 1940s, Paterson State Teachers College was located in the upper two floors of Public School #24 located at the intersection of East 22nd Street and 19th Ave. Hugh Robinson attended PS24 during this period. The section of Twenty-First Avenue in this area was once a predominantly Italian-American neighborhood, but today it has a large Hispanic population and is referred to as La Ventiuno by Paterson's Spanish-speaking community. It is an active and vibrant retail strip featuring a variety of shops and services catering to a diverse clientele. Although there is still a significant Italian presence left in the neighborhood, it also has a large first-generation Latin American population, particularly Colombian.
