Reinhardt Mills

The Paterson Armory, an armory in Paterson, New Jersey, was a facility of the New Jersey National Guard and an arena. The building at 461-473 Market Street was long disused and in a state of disrepair when on November 10, 2015, a fire damaged it heavily. As of November 16, 2015, the armory was in the process of being demolished. Certain decorative features, such as the keystone in the arch at the entrance, may be chiseled out and given to the Paterson MuseumIn January 2017, in the absence of proposals, the city relaxed regulations regarding the building site. to encourage re-use and redevelopment for commercial and residential uses. In July 2018, the city announced the potential sale of the armory for new construction including remaining historical elements of the building.

St. Joseph's University Medical Center is a member of St. Joseph's Health. There is also a second acute care hospital located in Wayne, New Jersey on Hamburg Turnpike under the St. Joseph's Health umbrella. Eastside High School (or EHS) is a four–year public high school located in Paterson section of Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that serves the eastern section of Paterson. EHS, which serves ninth through twelfth grade students, operates as part of the Paterson Public Schools. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1928. Eastside High School opened on February 1, 1926.As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 2,323 students and 133.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 17.5:1. There were 1,188 students (51.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 37 (1.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.The school mascot—the Ghosts—derives from the location of Eastside's football field, where a nineteenth-century cemetery once stood. A May 1927 article in The Paterson Evening News refers to the Eastside team as the "Galloping Ghosts".

There were 395 students (60.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 8 (1.2% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Paterson is a New Jersey Transit commuter railway station located on an elevated viaduct above Market Street in downtown Paterson, New Jersey. The railway through the station is double tracked, for north and south traffic on the NJT Main Line.

People's Park is a section of Paterson, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, in the Eastside neighborhood. It is a mixed-use area with a diverse population. It is roughly bounded by Interstate 80 to the south, Madison Avenue to the west and Market Street to the north. It is a mostly residential neighborhood located north of 23rd Avenue and South of Market Street. In the late 1940s, Paterson State Teachers College was located in the upper two floors of Public School #24 located at the intersection of East 22nd Street and 19th Ave. Hugh Robinson attended PS24 during this period. The section of Twenty-First Avenue in this area was once a predominantly Italian-American neighborhood, but today it has a large Hispanic population and is referred to as La Ventiuno by Paterson's Spanish-speaking community. It is an active and vibrant retail strip featuring a variety of shops and services catering to a diverse clientele. Although there is still a significant Italian presence left in the neighborhood, it also has a large first-generation Latin American population, particularly Colombian.

Danforth Memorial Library, also known as the Paterson Free Public Library, is located at 250 Broadway in the city of Paterson in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. The library was built in 1905 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 1, 1984, for its significance in architecture, education, and social history.The Library houses the city's art collection, mostly of painting 19th century paintings donated to the city.
