East Cambie, Richmond

Henry James Cambie Secondary is a public high school in Richmond, British Columbia part of School District 38 Richmond. Cambie was the first secondary school in Richmond. When it first started in 1928, it was known as Richmond High. Later on it changed its name to Henry James Cambie Secondary School. In 1995 Cambie moved to its current location.

The Richmond Nature Park is a bog-forest nature park located in the city of Richmond, British Columbia. The Richmond Nature Park covers 200 acres of the raised peat bog habitat that has previously covered large sections of Lulu Island. The ever-changing environment of the Richmond Nature Park is also dominated by a wet, spongy land of mosses (specifically sphagnum moss), heath shrubs, and shrub-like trees. The park offers four walking trails that allows visitors to walk amongst the peat bog, the forest, and the pond habitat, and the opportunity to explore the wildlife of the plants and animals within the bog-forest. The Richmond Nature Park Society works on behalf of the Richmond Nature Park as a non-for-profit organization that aims in providing natural history education opportunities for visitors and residents, and through programs and events that promote the natural history of the nature park.

The Fraser St. Bridge (1894–1974), also known as the Fraser Ave. Bridge, North Arm Bridge, No. 5 Rd. Bridge, or Twigg Island Bridge, was a crossing over the north arm of the Fraser River in Metro Vancouver.

Mitchell Island is an island in the North Arm of the Fraser River in British Columbia, Canada, located between the cities of Vancouver and Richmond (incorporated as part of the latter). It is crossed by (and has on- and off-ramps for) the Knight Street Bridge, which is one of the main bridges between the City of Vancouver and Richmond. Originally agricultural, its land is now mainly used for industrial purposes. The island is host to a number of auto wreckers. Mitchell Island now includes the area of Twigg Island, originally known as Mason's Island and also known as Bell Island, a name which was rescinded in 1951 after the channel separating it from Mitchell Island was filled in. Also incorporated into Mitchell Island after the intervening channel was Eburne Island. The island's name commemorates the original Crown Grantee, Alexander Mitchell.The only way to get on and off the island by road or walking is through on- and off-ramps near the middle of the Knight Street Bridge. There is also a bus stop near the exit and entrance from the bridge; however, buses do not travel on the island itself.

Lulu Island is the name of the largest island in the estuary of the Fraser River, located south of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and the second-most populous island in British Columbia, after Vancouver Island. The city of Richmond occupies most of the island, while a small section at the eastern tip, known as Queensborough, is part of the city of New Westminster. Lulu Island is situated between the two principal arms of the Fraser River estuary across and downstream from the City of New Westminster. The middle arm of the Fraser River separates it on the northwest from Sea Island, the site of Vancouver International Airport, which, despite its name, is also part of the City of Richmond, and Swishwash Island and Iona Island. At the western edge of the island lies Sturgeon Bank, a large sandbank which falls off into the Strait of Georgia on its western edge. Mitchell Island is to its north. The islands of Annacis, Poplar, Don and Lion are to its east; to the south are Deas, Kirkland, Gunn, Barber, Reifel and Westham. Further upstream to the east are Douglas and Barnston.

West Cambie is a primarily residential neighbourhood located in Richmond, British Columbia. The neighbourhood is bounded by Garden City Road to the west, Sea Island Way and Highway 99 to the north, Shell Road to the east, and Alderbridge Way and Westminster Highway to the south. The area is divided into three distinct sub-communities, alongside property designated for the Department of National Defence: The Oaks: The northernmost section of the neighbourhood, located north of Cambie Road. Odlinwood: The area situated east of No. 4 Road and north of Alderbridge Way. Alexandra: The area located west of No. 4 Road.

The Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique (also known as Francophone Education Authority or School District No 93) is the French-language school board for all French schools located in British Columbia. Its headquarters are in Richmond in Greater Vancouver. Unlike the other school boards in British Columbia, this school board does not cover a specific geographic area, but instead takes ownership of schools based solely on language. The school board helps ensure those with constitutional rights to minority language education under section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms receive it.The Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique offers educational programs and services geared towards the growth and cultural promotion of the province's Francophone learners. An active partner in the development of British Columbia's Francophone community, the Conseil has presently in its system, and distributed across 78 communities in the province, over 6,400 students and 46 schools. The school board also operates a French first language virtual school known as École Virtuelle.

Richmond South Centre is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Canada that was created in the 2015 redistribution from parts of Richmond Centre, Richmond East and Richmond-Steveston. It was first contested in the 2017 election.

12 (Vancouver) Service Company (12 Svc Coy) is a Canadian Army Primary Reserve combat service support unit of the Canadian Forces that can fight in a defensive role and provides logistical support to the units within 3rd Canadian Division's 39 Canadian Brigade Group, which consists of all Primary Reserve units in British Columbia.

Richmond East was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Canada. It was replaced by the Richmond-Queensborough electoral district after the British Columbia electoral redistribution, 2015.

The Knight Street Bridge is a crossing over the north arm of the Fraser River, the Canadian National Railway (CNR) line, and several roads, in Metro Vancouver.
