Gene Lobe Field at Kitsap County Fairgrounds and Event Center is 1 of 4 ballparks at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and Event Center. It has played host to the Kitsap BlueJackets of the West Coast League. The BlueJackets have not had a winning season since 2007.On July 26, 2013, Spenser Watkins threw a perfect game against the Victoria HarbourCats in front of 413 fans cheering him on to a 2–0 win.

KITZ (1400 AM "Megatalk 920 and 1400") is a commercial radio station featuring a talk radio format, simulcast with KGTK (920 AM) in Olympia. Licensed to Silverdale, Washington, KITZ serves the Puget Sound Region, including Seattle and Tacoma. KITZ Radio, Inc. is owned by two gun-rights groups: the Second Amendment Foundation and its affiliate, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Its main studio and production facilities are on Mile High Drive in Port Orchard. By day, KITZ is powered at 1,000 watts, using a non-directional antenna. At night, there is a slight reduction of power to 890 watts. The transmitter is on Tibardis Road NW in Silverdale.

Olympic High School is a secondary school located in Bremerton, Washington, United States. It is one of six secondary schools in the Central Kitsap School District. OHS educates grades 9–12. Course offerings include several Advanced Placement courses, a college in the High School program in partnership with Central Washington University, and an advanced Career and Technical Education program called Project Lead the Way. The school also offers students programs in vocal and instrumental music, and Sports medicine. In 2017, community support allowed the school to begin a major modernization project. The center of the building will be demolished. A two-story building will be constructed in its place. The addition will include career and technical classrooms, an updated library, an auditorium and commons areas. The project will not be complete by fall 2018. The school's main gym is also the home venue for the Kitsap Admirals of the American Basketball Association and International Basketball League.

Tracyton is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. Its population was 5,233 at the 2010 census. It was named for 19th century Secretary of the Navy Benjamin F. Tracy.

Dyes Inlet is an inlet on the Kitsap Peninsula in western Washington, USA. Silverdale, Washington is located on the north shore of the inlet and has a marina, waterfront park, boat ramp, and boardwalk. The west shoreline is part of Chico, Washington and the east shoreline is Tracyton, Washington. Dyes Inlet is connected to Port Orchard via the Port Washington Narrows, Port Washington being an earlier name for the inlet. It was named for John W. W. Dyes, a taxidermist with the Wilkes Expedition of 1841. Chico Creek and Clear Creek are the major fresh waterways that drain into the inlet. Both creeks have heavy salmon runs during the fall.Dyes Inlet has hosted Unlimited Light Hydroplane races. The inlet is also referenced in Death Cab for Cutie's song 'Northern Lights' on their ninth studio album Thank You for Today.

Clear Creek Trail is an urban trail in Silverdale, Washington, "at once in the suburbs and simultaneously immersed in the natural world". In a 2011 book by Mountaineers Books, it was reported to be over seven miles long. The trail extends along Clear Creek from its uplands near the Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor Trigger Avenue gate on State Route 3 to the creek's estuary at Dyes Inlet.

It serves unincorporated portions of the county, including the community of Silverdale, and portions of the City of Bremerton. As of June 2014, the district has an enrollment of 11,091 students. Approximately one-quarter of students are from military families, and one half are from families economically dependent on the US Navy. It consists of CK High and Middle school, Klahowya, and other schools like Ridgetop or Fairview

Its anchor tenants include JCPenney, Macy's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Kohl's, Barnes & Noble, Cost Plus World Market, and WinCo Foods; it has 73 retail stores, and entertainment and dining establishments total. The mall is owned by Kitsap Mall LLC and managed by Jones Lang LaSalle.
