Wolf's Lair is an estate located at 2869 N. Durand Drive in the Hollywoodland neighborhood of Beachwood Canyon in Hollywood, California, United States. Designed in the Châteauesque style by John DeLario for Leslie Milton Wolf, the estate was completed in 1928 and was Wolf's residence until his death in 1972. In subsequent years, the estate saw numerous owners and renters, with notable occupants including Marlon Brando, Debbie Reynolds, and members of The Beatles. The property covers 3.3 acres (13,000 m2) and includes the main house, pool house, gate house, and a guest house designed by John Lautner.

The Hollywood Sign (originally the Hollywoodland Sign) is an American landmark and cultural icon overlooking Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. It is situated on Mount Lee, in the Beachwood Canyon area of the Santa Monica Mountains. Spelling out the word Hollywood in 45 ft (13.7 m)-tall white capital letters and 350 feet (106.7 m) long, it was originally created in 1923 as a temporary advertisement for a local real estate development, but due to increasing recognition the sign was left up, and replaced in 1978 with a more durable all-steel structure. Among the most well-known landmarks in both California and the United States, the sign makes frequent appearances in popular culture, particularly in establishing shots for films and television programs set in or around Hollywood. Signs of similar style, but spelling different words, are frequently seen as parodies. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce holds trademark rights to the Hollywood Sign.Because of its widespread recognizability and its visibility from many points across the Los Angeles Basin, the sign has been a frequent target of pranks and vandalism across the decades. It has since undergone restoration, including the installation of a security system to deter mischief. The sign is protected and promoted by nonprofit The Hollywood Sign Trust, while its site and the surrounding land are part of Griffith Park. Visitors can hike to the sign from the Bronson Canyon entrance to Griffith Park or from Griffith Observatory. There is also a trailhead near the Lake Hollywood Reservoir outside of Griffith Park, and although not an access point in itself, there is a popular scenic vista point around Lake Hollywood Park near the trailhead.

The Mulholland Dam is a Los Angeles Department of Water and Power dam located in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles, California, east of the Hollywood Freeway. Designed with a storage capacity of 7,900 acre⋅ft (9,700,000 m3) of water at a maximum depth of 183 feet (56 m), the dam forms the Hollywood Reservoir, which collects water from various aqueducts and impounds the creek of Weid Canyon.

The Hollywood Sculpture Garden is an outdoor garden in Los Angeles dedicated to the display of sculptures by various artists, including local, national, and international artists.It was founded in May 2012, by Dr. Robby Gordon, and is located at 2430 Vasanta Way, Los Angeles in the Hollywood Hills (below the Hollywood sign). It currently hosts over 100 different sculptures, which can be viewed from street-level, as well as during private events and pre-arranged appointments. There are two viewing balconies overlooking the garden, as well as pathways and stairs that were added later on (2018 - 2020). The Hollywood Sculpture Garden is open to the public (viewings by appointment only), and also holds regular art receptions and fundraisers. It was featured in Los Angeles Magazine on the "Best of LA" list (issue 08/17), as well as other publications and websites. Atlas Obscura touted it as a, "A Dazzling Hodgepodge in the Hills," in its article, An Explorer's Guide To Hidden Hollywood.The Hollywood Sculpture Garden is also occasionally used as a backdrop for film productions and photoshoots. It may be rented as a venue for a range of events, including fashion shows, weddings, private parties, and pop-up art shows.

Beachwood Canyon is a community in the Hollywood Hills, in the northern portion of Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. The upper portion of the canyon is the Hollywoodland community that was advertised in the 1920s by the original of what is now known as the Hollywood Sign. The neighborhood features its own market, cafe, florist and stables.
