Twickenham Methodist Church is a former Methodist church on Queens Road, Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It closed for worship in December 2016.

TwickFolk (previously known as Twickenham Folk Club) organises acoustic music events in and around Twickenham, south-west London. A registered charity, it is run, not for profit, by a small group of volunteers. It was established in January 1983 and is now one of the best known and most highly respected folk clubs in London and the South East of England.TwickFolk organises gigs on Sunday evenings, usually at the Patchworks music venue at The Cabbage Patch pub in London Road, Twickenham, featuring British and North American acoustic folk and roots-based music in a programme that includes blues, country music and Americana as well as traditional folk music. The evening usually consists of a main "guest" preceded by a support act or several floor spots. Occasionally TwickFolk organises singers' nights. These consist of either several performed floor spots or an unplugged singaround where everyone sits in a circle and those who want to sing or play an instrument can take turns to do so. TwickFolk has also organised workshops on building a cigar box guitar and on playing guitar and nyckelharpa.TwickFolk has also held charity fundraising nights benefiting national and local charities.

The Fox is a pub at 39 Church Street, Twickenham, London TW1. It is a Grade II listed building, dating back to the 18th century.

Twickenham railway station is in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, and is in Travelcard Zone 5. By track it is 11 miles 22 chains (18.1 km) from London Waterloo. Only one main street abuts the station – at its west end – London Road running between a trunk road south of Twickenham Stadium and the town centre to the south including the town's public section of riverside. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South Western Railway. Apart from Richmond Railway Bridge it is at the heart of a long section of two tracks at grade (i.e. the level of the surrounding land) between Putney and Egham. Between about this point and St Margarets station, 500 metres east, are three tracks instead of two. Adding to the station's use, west are returning ends of the Kingston and Hounslow Loop Lines. A street runs against the south side of the station meaning the westbound platform has long been in island format and doubles as the fast and semi-fast services' eastbound platform.

The Exchange, Twickenham is a community building, including a 320-seat theatre, at Brewery Wharf opposite Twickenham railway station in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It opened in October 2017. The building is owned by Richmond upon Thames Council and is managed by St Mary's University, Twickenham.Its programme includes talks, drama performances, film screenings by the local Twickenham Cinema Club, and folk music events organised in partnership with TwickFolk.

The Twickenham Museum is a volunteer-run museum in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It is located opposite St Mary's parish church at 25 The Embankment, Twickenham TW1 3DU, an 18th-century three-storey building which has been listed Grade II by Historic England and was donated to the museum.An independent museum, the Twickenham Museum is run by a registered charity that was first registered in 1993.The museum's area of interest is the history of Teddington, Twickenham, Whitton and the Hamptons, which, until local government boundary changes in 1965, formed the Municipal Borough of Twickenham. It collects, researches and displays archives, artefacts and information from these areas and provides related historical information on its website. The museum also mounts exhibitions.In 2014, it received £9000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund's Then and Now programme for a project on the 1914 Christmas truce during the First World War that led to a soldier, Frank Edwards, kicking a football when fighting the Battle of Loos in 1915.

St Mary's Church, Twickenham, also known as St Mary the Virgin, Twickenham, is a Grade II* listed Church of England place of worship dedicated to Saint Mary the Virgin. It is on Church Street, Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, England.The parish church stands a short distance from York House and the banks of the River Thames, immediately opposite Eel Pie Island.

Twickenham Rowing Club was founded on 26 July 1860 so is jointly with Thames Rowing Club the third oldest rowing club on the Thames. The club is on Eel Pie Island in Twickenham, south-west London. Its boat code is TWK.

Eel Pie Island Museum is a volunteer-run museum on Richmond Road in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It opened in February 2018 and tells the story of Eel Pie Island, including its historic boatyards (some of whose boats took part in the evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940), its contribution to the development of the popular music scene in the 1960s (the island had a hotel whose ballroom hosted some important music acts), and the life of the wind-up radio inventor, Trevor Baylis, who was a resident of the island. The museum's founder and curator is Michele Whitby.
