St Nicholas Church, Plumstead

The A209 road is a 2-mile (3.2 km) route in southeast London, England. It connects Plumstead in the north with Welling in the south, passing through East Wickham. It is known as Wickham Lane at the northern end in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and Upper Wickham Lane at the southern end in the London Borough of Bexley. The entire route is served by the London Buses route 96.

Woolwich East was a parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1918 until 1983. Its seat was Woolwich, now in the Royal Borough of Greenwich in south-east London. The constituency was formed for the 1918 general election, when the constituency of Woolwich was divided into Woolwich East and Woolwich West, and abolished in 1983 when it was largely replaced by a new Woolwich constituency. Between 1950 and 1974 it included North Woolwich on the north bank of the River Thames; this was then transferred to Newham South. Throughout its 65-year existence, the constituency elected Labour MPs with the sole exception of a Conservative elected in a 1921 by-election.

Church Manor Way Halt was a halt station in south-east London, between Plumstead and Abbey Wood on the North Kent Line of the South Eastern and Chatham Railway. It was built to serve munitions workers at Woolwich Arsenal during the First World War. It was opened in 1917 and closed in 1920. The halt was named Church Manor Way after the road in which it was situated.

Little and Lesnes was a hundred, a historical land division, in the county of Kent, England. It occupied the northern part of the Lathe of Sutton-at-Hone, within in the west division of Kent. Little and Lesnes was the northernmost hundred in the whole county of Kent. The hundred existed since ancient times, before the Domesday Book of 1086, until it was made obsolete with the creation of new districts at the end of the nineteenth century.Today the area that was the Hundred of Little and Lesnes is suburban London, covering the northeast corner of the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the northern part of the London Borough of Bexley, with the River Thames to the north, and Watling Street to the south; and roughly centred on the area of Abbey Wood. Little and Lesnes Hundred was approximately, 4 miles (6.5 km) across north to south, and about 7 miles (11.25 km) wide east to west.

Halls Athletic F.C. is an English football club based in Dartford, Kent. The club was founded in 1919 and is affiliated with the Kent County Football Association. The club currently competes in the Southern Counties East League Division One.

Woolwich cemetery is a cemetery in southeast London, situated south-east of Woolwich, in Kings Highway, Plumstead, on land that was formerly part of Plumstead Common. The first cemetery, which is sometimes referred to as the Woolwich Old Cemetery, was opened in 1856 by the Woolwich Burial Board and the 12-acre site was almost full within 30 years; in 1885, a new cemetery was established on adjacent land to the east. The latter site is still in use, and contains graves of those who died in explosions at the Royal Arsenal, plus a World War I memorial with the names of 14 casualties; in total the cemetery has 96 World War I and 81 World War II Commonwealth war graves.The cemetery has been used as a film location for The Krays (1990) and Harry Brown (2009).
