The Musée Pasteur is a museum dedicated to French scientist Louis Pasteur. It is located within the Institut Pasteur at 25 Rue du Docteur Roux, Paris, France, in the 15th arrondissement, and is open daily in the warmer months; an admission fee is charged. The museum was established in 1935, in honor of Louis Pasteur, and preserves his memory in the apartment where he spent the last seven years of his life, it also has an impressive room where some 1,000 scientific instruments are exhibited. The museum houses the Neo-Byzantine chapel in which he is buried.

The Pasteur Institute (French: Institut Pasteur) is a French non-profit private foundation dedicated to the study of biology, micro-organisms, diseases, and vaccines. It is named after Louis Pasteur, who invented pasteurization and vaccines for anthrax and rabies. The institute was founded on June 4, 1887, and inaugurated on November 14, 1888. For over a century, the Institut Pasteur has researched infectious diseases. This worldwide biomedical research organization based in Paris was the first to isolate HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, in 1983. Over the years, it has been responsible for discoveries that have enabled medical science to control diseases such as diphtheria, tetanus, tuberculosis, poliomyelitis, influenza, yellow fever, and plague. Since 1908, ten Institut Pasteur scientists have been awarded the Nobel Prize for medicine and physiology—the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was shared between two Pasteur scientists.

Pasteur (French pronunciation: [pastœʁ] (listen)) is a station on Line 6 and Line 12 of the Paris Métro in the 15th arrondissement. The platforms for both lines are situated underground, although Line 6 becomes elevated as it approaches northwest end of the station. Nearby are the Pasteur Institute (research facility) and the Lycée Buffon (school).

The Lycée Buffon is a secondary school in the XVe arrondissement of Paris, bordered by boulevard Pasteur, the rue de Vaugirard and the rue de Staël. Its nearest métro station is Pasteur. It is named for Georges-Louis Leclerc, comte de Buffon. Jean-Claude Durand is its current proviseur. It is a "cité scolaire" made up of a collège, a lycée and scientific classes préparatoires. It has 2 000 students, served by 170 professors, 4 "conseillers principaux d'éducation" and 50 other teaching personnel. It also houses an adult education centre for those taking the BTS and the Licence des métiers de l'immobilier, and a UPI, the only one in Paris for the visually impaired. The young visually impaired students can then integrate into classical education. The religious scholar Odon Vallet studied here, and its teachers have included the philosopher and journalist Maurice Clavel, the theatre critic and historian Gilles Sandié, and the writer and cineaste Jean Pelgri. The school's sundial can be seen on an exterior wall on rue de Vaugirard.

The École normale catholique (ENC), also officially known as the lycée Blomet, is a private school founded in 1906 by teacher Louise Desrez. Since 1933, it has been located at 5 rue Blomet, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.

Volontaires (French pronunciation: ​[vɔlɔ̃tɛːʁ]) is a station on Line 12 of the Paris Métro. Located in the 15th arrondissement, at the junction of the Rue des Volontaires (which it is named after) with the Rue de Vaugirard, it opened on 5 November 1910 as part of the original section of Line A of the Nord-Sud Company between Porte de Versailles and Notre-Dame-de-Lorette. On 27 March 1931, Line A became Line 12 of the Métro network.

The Necker–Enfants Malades Hospital (French: Hôpital Necker-Enfants Malades [opital nɛkɛʁ ɑ̃fɑ̃ malad]) is a French teaching hospital in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. It is a hospital of the Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris group and is affiliated to the University of Paris Descartes. Necker–Enfants Malades Hospital was created in 1920 by the merger of Necker Hospital (Hôpital Necker), which was founded in 1778 by Suzanne Necker, with the physically contiguous Sick Children's Hospital (Hôpital des Enfants Malades), the oldest children's hospital in the Western world, founded in 1801.

Tower (French: Tour) is a mural by American artist Keith Haring executed in 1987. The mural covers the exterior of a preserved stairwell from the now demolished building of the Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital in Paris, France. It is one of two public murals in France by the artist.

Sèvres–Lecourbe (French pronunciation: ​[sɛvʁ ləkuʁb]) is an elevated station of the Paris Métro serving line 6 at the intersection of several streets including the Rue de Sèvres and the Rue Lecourbe in the 15th arrondissement. This station is one of a small number of elevated Paris Métro stations. The tracks emerge from underground near the Pasteur station at Rue de Vaugirard and remain elevated through four more stations, crossing the Seine on Pont de Bir-Hakeim and descending underground west of the Seine near the Passy station. Visitors have excellent views of several notable landmarks from this station and its trains.
